Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.” Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
1. Almighty, eternal God, heavenly Father, comfort and strengthen this your servant and save them through your goodness. The greatest promise given us: “Be faithful until death, and I will give you a crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10b) Jesus said those words. No one has ever been more faithful in keeping a promise than Almighty God.
The most famous example—for good reason—is the Lord's Prayer (Matt 6:5–15, Luke 11:1–4), in which Jesus teaches his disciples to pray.
Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace in our mind, body, soul and spirit. We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in our lives. Please guide our path through life and make our enemies be at peace with us.
Dear God, please give me strength when I am weak, love when I feel forsaken, courage when I am afraid, wisdom when I feel foolish, comfort when I am alone, hope when I feel rejected, and peace when I am in turmoil. Amen.
Lord Jesus, holy and compassionate: forgive N his/her sins. By dying you unlocked the gates of life for those who believe in you: do not let our brother/ sister be parted from you, but by your glorious power give him/her light, joy and peace in heaven where you live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.
Lord God, we come to You today burdened and hurt by what has happened. From the very presence of death we call upon You, for You are the giver of life; Your Son Jesus Christ is the source of eternal life. You know our hearts, Father, You see our grief.
The prayer of protection. The prayer of transformation. The prayer of restoration.

Father God, we bow before you, and recognize our great need of a Savior. Today we want to lift our hearts and give thanks for Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. We lift our hearts in praise to our Savior, and as your loved children and your redeemed servants, we lay our lives before you in worship.
True prayer is heartfelt: the words convey our deeply felt desires and are coupled with a commitment to act on the divine guidance we receive. Heartfelt prayer comes from the depths of the soul. Our mind and heart are directed toward God with full and complete attention.
Praying Psalm 91 reminds us of our Salvation
We must remember that our eternal hope of heaven far outweighs the struggles here on earth. God is with us during the difficulties on earth, and he will be with us in eternity. What a great comfort it is to know that we will enter the eternal rest of our Lord forever!
The most effective prayer, the one that is always answered, is this: “Father, glorify Your name.” “Answer my cry, O Lord, in a way that will accomplish Your will, for Your will is good, acceptable, and perfect. It is best for You, and therefore best for me and any others who may be affected by this prayer.
Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Cast anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells.

1 Peter tells us that everything else fades. The grass and flowers will wither and fall; but, the Word of the Lord endures forever. God has bound himself to this Word, and keeps his promises.
When mankind had become corrupted in the period preceding the flood, God said: 'My spirit shall not abide in man for ever, for he is flesh; his days shall be a hundred and twenty years' (Gen. 6:3).
