Full breasts, narrow waist, rounded hips – these are the most characteristic features of the Romantic type, regardless of the weight-to-height ratio. In the case of Soft Dramatic, it was also a female hourglass, but the Romantic shapes are entirely different.
Sometimes a bit of confusion arises between the differences between theatrical romantics and soft dramatics. The difference is that theatrical romantics are mainly yin, with a touch of sharpness to their bones and features, whereas soft dramatics are mainly yang with a touch of softness to their features and flesh.
The Soft Classic is moderate in size and scaling. Relative to the Romantic, the SC looks taller, more elongated, broader, and more vertically compact. The bones of the Soft Classic are relatively more angular and straighter, but retain a bit of roundness throughout the edges and a little bit of gentle width.
It is said that the classic body type is one of the rarest body types because of the perfect symmetry. Their facial structure is proportional and they have smooth facial features. Bone structure, body flesh, and facial features are blended, and they are neither sharp nor round, neither short nor long.
A Soft Natural woman usually has large eyes, full lips, and slightly rounded cheeks. The lines of the silhouette are not typically curvy (see Romantic type). The body is full, the waist is defined, but the outline of the figure varies between a rectangle and an hourglass.
According to his concept, a representative of the Romantic type has the most feminine body shape. Full breasts, narrow waist, rounded hips – these are the most characteristic features of the Romantic type, regardless of the weight-to-height ratio.
It is not the most noticeable thing, as in the Gamine family, but the upper height limit for the Romantic type is 5'6″. You'll notice, however, that there are celebrities above this type (Beyonce at 5'7″) but these celebrities are often debated (although supposedly verified by Kibbe).
The Soft Classic will have the following characteristics: Height: Moderate, up to 5 ft 6 inches tall. Above that height and you have added a yang element to the mix and will lean more towards Dramatic Classic if you have moderation/balance.
The Romantic body type is all about lush yin. It includes no sharp features or angles and usually embraces curves, rounded edges, and a more hourglass or voluptuous frame. Marilyn Monroe is the poster child for the romantic body type.
Theatrical Romantic: The Theatrical Romantic ID figure will remain hourglass, and even with weight gain will have a defined waist. Upper arms, upper thighs, and face will become more fleshy.
Sexual attraction: attraction that makes people desire sexual contact or shows sexual interest in another person(s). Romantic attraction: attraction that makes people desire romantic contact or interaction with another person or persons.
Wondering what romantic clothing style is all about? It's a dreamy form of dressing characterized by soft silhouettes and textures, feminine touches and a dash of nostalgia. Think tiered dresses in pastel hues and statement sleeves galore.
The Romantic Kibbe body type is characterized by soft, curvy, and feminine proportions, with a round face and full, lush hair. Celebrity examples of the Romantic Kibbe body type include Marilyn Monroe, Scarlett Johansson, and Sofia Vergara.
The Classic Kibbe body type is first and foremost symmetrical. It is neither very sharp and angular like the Dramatic type nor very round and soft like the Romantic type. Its overall look is moderate and low contrast because of the blended Yin and Yang in the features.
Yin is defined by roundness and curves. And this is perfectly demonstrated by Marilyn Monroe on the left. Her body type is rounded and curvy, and there are no sharp edges or angles.
Soft Natural Physical Profile. Height: Moderate to slightly small, up to 5 ft 7 inches. Now, this is what the book states as the height limit.
Top hourglass body shape
Considered to be the most attractive body shape, this is very similar to hourglass body shape, except that in this case the curves are more defined.
As mentioned before in Perett's book, In Your Face: The New Science of Human Attraction, women show a stronger attraction toward men with a figure consistent with the ideal hunting physique: strong shoulders, narrow waists, and broad chests and shoulders.
All 160 females in the study agreed on the most attractive body shape or type for a man. A strong upper body is the most attractive body shape or type on men to females, research finds.
Similarly, theatrical romantic kibbe types have a yang undercurrent which means you can see they have some sharp shoulders, nose, jaw, or cheekbones. Whereas romantics have much more softness in their face and shoulder line. Both IDs have a majority of yin features. Whereas the soft dramatic body type is yang dominant.
Bodies with double curve look like 2 circles sitting on top of each other. Once you have vertical in your silhouette, there are more angular shapes in your frame whether that be your hips, your limbs, your shoulders etc. Once you are frame dominant, the circle doesn't go all the way to your shoulders.
The Theatrical Romantic is easily overwhelmed with even a bit of oversized and un-tapered fits and sweeping volumes (as opposed to more delicate, tapered volumes). The Soft Dramatic is constrained with too many contrasting and small patterns and details and too much tight and constraining shaping.
