Symbiotes like Venom are immensely powerful, possessed of great strength and endurance, but they also have two extremely common weaknesses: fire and sound. Numerous foes have used these to best Venom and other symbiotes, and Peter Parker even originally repelled the symbiote suit by exposing it to a tolling bell.
Like most other Symbiotes, it is vulnerable to sound and fire. However Carnage doesn't mind heat as long as it's the one making it.
a natural weakness to sonic attacks and heat-based attacks, which Knull unintentionally gave them while they were being forged. However, symbiotes have a growing resistance to sound and fire due to their evolution.
Symbiotes were naturally weakened by intense sounds and intense heat - especially large fires. Additionally, in some stories and games, (mostly mentioned in the 2000 Spider-Man game), they are also weakened by magnesium.
In addition, Venom has come out on top as the victor in many battles with Symbiotes like Carnage, Hybrid, and Scream (all of which are arguably more powerful than he is).
Blue Symbiote (2) (Agony): In the comics Agony was one of the symbiotes forcibly spawned from Venom alongside several others by the Life Foundation.
The original series climaxes with Spider-Man battling Venom in a burning warehouse, with the combination of the collapsing building and flame being enough to kill Venom. The symbiote returns later in the second series, but is destroyed for good by an energy blast from a powerful Goblin Mech.
Psychosomatic fear of knull, God of symbiotes, who literally forged the symbiotes out of shadow within the head of the dead celestial that eventually became Knowhere. The fear of sound comes from knulls hammer striking his anvil and the fear of fire from knulls forge.
Why is black Venom afraid of red Venom? It could be that in the universe of the Venom movies, this type of strong bond is already known among the symbiotes to result in stronger specimens. This could explain why Venom is so fearful of facing an enemy with a ruddy hue.
Trivia. In the comics the symbiote Phage is also referred to as the Yellow Symbiote, has identical colors, and originates from the Life Foundation. Phage was only named decades after the its debut, after years of not having an offical name.
Lasher is a largely green and light aqua symbiote.
Carnage. Perhaps the Marvel Universe's deadliest symbiote, Carnage debuted in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1963) #345. Shortly after spawning from Venom, the Carnage symbiote bonded to a serial killer named Cletus Kasady.
The bond between the Carnage symbiote and Kasady was stronger than the bond between Brock and the Venom symbiote. Cletus Kasady was also a serial killer and thought of as insane. As a result, Carnage is far more violent, powerful, and deadly than Venom.
Carnage is Venom's offspring. That is why Carnage often calls him “Pops” or the like. Like a previous poster stated Venom feels responsible for Carnage and Carnage hates his “dad”.
Carnage barely put up a fight. Pieces of the symbiote were on him, but he didn't fully transform or try to defend himself. Venom simply pulled the symbiote off of him and ate it, becoming stronger.
Venom (Eddie Brock) In Comics Powers, Villains, History | Marvel.
In common language, cytotoxic venom kills cells and tissues at scale. Many regard it as flesh-eating venom.
Symbiotes are gender fluid
Literally, gender fluid. The noun. Beings of sentient goo that can express all kinds of gender all over the place.
They rapidly age the symbiotes and pair them to people: Scream (yellow, female), Agony (pink, female), Lasher (green, male), Riot (grey, male) and Phage (orange, male). Venom defeats his lab offspring in their first encounter, and the The Life Foundation revives the five only to have them quit and go rogue.
Agony is largely dark purple with dark pink mix symbiote, it grants its host with claws, a blade along the fur end of the forearms, fangs and fairly long prehensile hairs, as well as manipulate its body into various form.
Birth. Born from Carnage as the 1000th symbiote in its lineage, "Toxin" was feared to be the strongest and most dangerous of their race by both Carnage and Venom besides Knull. Shortly after being born, the symbiote united with police officer Pat Mulligan.
Venom has been terrifying and exciting Spider-Man fans since 1988, going from out-and-out villain to anti-hero to out-and-out hero. With that kind of range, it's not surprising that Eddie Brock beats out Carnage as the fastest symbiote on this list.
Carnage is Venom's son. Like most organic beings, Venom's race known as the Klyntar also reproduces and creates other symbiotes. Venom spawned an offspring while he was rescuing Eddie Brock from prison. The newborn symbiote bonded with Eddie's cellmate Cletus Kasady and became Carnage.
