Code 3: Routine Job: Proceed Normal Traffic Conditions. Lights and Sirens are NOT to be used for Code 3.
Code 3 in a hospital means that an emergency service response team, such as an ambulance with paramedics, is traveling to an emergency with their lights and sirens on.
Code 3: Respond to the call with using lights and sirens. Code 2: Respond to the call with emergency lights, but without sirens. Alternatively, sirens may be used if necessary, such as to make traffic yield or when going through intersections.
