The Dark Deku Arc is the nineteenth story arc in the My Hero Academia manga and the first story arc in the Final Act Saga. In the anime, it is called Dark Hero Arc and begins with episode #132.
In order to try to protect people, Izuku left UA and is working with All Might and an elite squadron of heroes as he goes through his Batman phase—better known to fans as Dark Deku.
The idea behind the Dark Deku Arc is to explore what would happen if the main character, Izuku Midoriya, took a darker turn and became a villain instead of a hero.
Why does Deku become a villain? The concerns surrounding Deku grew after he awoke his new quirk Black Whip, originally belonging to Daigoro Banjo, one of the inheritors of One for All. Deku was unable to control its powers and its generally dark and intimidating image didn't help his case.
His Blackwhips are seen sprouting from his back, as his eyes glow and his appearance looks bulkier than ever. Izuku's darker form, also known as Black Deku, scared those closest to him and the illustration proves why - it turns the hero into a literal monster.

Villain Deku is the evil version of Izuku Midoriya from the anime My Hero Academia. His bad ending occurs after an alternate version of events in the first episode.
He became a villain by Shiki infusing herself into his body, which makes him a powerful, formidable, manipulative, irredeemable, wicked, insane, heartless, dangerous, murderous, sinister, sadistic, & intelligent villain, also receiving multiple dark magic-related Quirks & his dangerous weapon Giga Battle Nizer.
It would be a relief to many My Hero Academia fans to learn that Bakugo does not die in the series. Unfortunately, he was severely injured, which is why he has not been seen in a fight in quite some time. It was a blow from Shigaraki that ruptured Bakugo's heart and left him unconscious.
Unlike All Might who only utilized super strength at its maximum potential, Dark Deku harnessed the power of the other OFA wielders. Danger Sense was almost always activated, while also maximizing the use of Blackwhip, Smokescreen, and Float.
The "U.A. Traitor" is revealed to be Yuga Aoyama. He was born Quirkless, and with his parents both coming from wealthy backgrounds, they made a deal with All For One to give him his Navel Laser Quirk in a desperate move to grant their son a happy, successful life.
Izuku Midoriya has been betrayed by U.A and his classmates besides two. Kyoka Jiro and Katsuki Bakugo.
Whenever a hero engages in battle, there is the expectation that parts of their costume will get ripped up or destroyed. With his mask being the first piece to suffer this, as it was not well-designed, Deku likely realized there was no point in having it be constantly repaired or remade by the school's Support Course.
However, following the encounter with Lady Nagant and after hearing All For One's ominous threats, Deku decides he doesn't need his mentor anymore. In a sad, emotional sequence that takes place under the rain, Deku tells the now-powerless All Might that he doesn't have to worry,...

As the leader of the League of Villains, Tomura Shigaraki is the major evildoer of My Hero Academia. With his quirk called Decay, he has the power to touch anything with his five fingers and make it disintegrate, regardless of its nature.
Izuku was born without any unique superpower, or "Quirk", to call his own unlike his parents and 80% of the world's population. Despite this setback, he grew up with aspirations to be a hero in his own right and began to idolize the superhero All Might.
Deku's final quirk is known as 'gearshift'. It's a quirk that is activated via physical contact. It allows the user to change the velocity of anything they touch, meaning they can spontaneously slow things down, or speed things up.
Powers & Abilities
Quirkless Villain Deku: Izuku doesn't get any quirk, and uses his intelligence instead to obtain information from other heroes.
According to the events of My Hero Academia so far, Deku grew up without a Quirk. He was given the OFA Quirk when he met All Might. The series does give an explanation for why Deku was deemed Quirkless. With that said, more than a few fans are skeptical about it.
One For All is one of the strongest Quirks in My Hero Academia, if not the strongest. It allows the super to stockpile incredible amounts of power within their body which, when released, grants a tremendous boost in power.
The seventh user of One For All, Nana Shimura is a superheroine with the Quirk, Float. She was a friend of Gran Torino and All Might's mentor, teaching him in an optimistic manner.
Deku had unlocked all but two of the Quirks in One for All prior to episode 20 of season 6, leaving only the Second and Third User's Quirks unknown. However, these two did not seem to approve of Deku, and when he spoke to One for All's previous users in My Hero Academia, they faced away from him and said nothing.
