Dwight from 'The Office' Has Changed His Name to 'Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson'
The Office star Rainn Wilson, who played Dwight Schrute in the beloved comedy series, has changed his name to “Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson” to draw attention to climate change.
Born and raised in Honesdale, PA to a Pennsylvania Dutch family of beet farmers, Dwight is currently married to fellow Dunder Mifflin employee Angela Martin. In addition to his tenure at Dunder Mifflin, Dwight enjoys a prolific career as a beet farmer at Schrute Farms, which is home to a renowned bed and breakfast.
Wilson, best known for his role as Dwight on the popular sitcom “The Office,” announced in a video on social media that he has changed his name to “Rainfall Heat Wave Rising Sea Levels Wilson” to protest climate change, according to CNN.
He wrote: I've always looked up to you, @johnkrasinski. This is so adorable, and I'm sure a number of Office fans are excited to see that these two are still friends, even years after their NBC show ended. The popularity of the sitcom has transcended its 2005 to 2013 run -- and so has this friendship.
Rainn Wilson's many friendships
In fact, Wilson seemed to be quite the popular guy on the set of "The Office," as not only did he become close with Nunez, but he also formed a close bond with John Krasinski, who we all know as Dwight's rival Jim Halpert.
Generally speaking, Dwight is unable to understand his social world. Between his difficulty understanding social cues, inability to restrain inappropriate thoughts, and highly specific areas of interest, Dwight's character consistently exhibits behavior that is associated with autism spectrum disorder.
Noting his feelings of superiority toward himself and his responsibilities alongside his delusion that there is always someone out to get him, it is only appropriate that Dwight Schrute be diagnosed with paranoid personality disorder.
Angela Martin
After dating for about seven months, Andy proposes to Angela, during Toby Flenderson's farewell party, and she solemnly accepts.
His full given name is Rainn Percival Dietrich Wilson. “With the help of my scientist friends at Arctic Basecamp, I've changed my name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson,” Wilson said in a statement.
Wilson was cast to play Harry Mudd in Star Trek: Discovery and directed the Star Trek: Short Treks The Escape Artist. Wilson has voiced Lex Luthor in various DC animated films, including The Death of Superman, Reign of the Supermen, and Batman: Hush.
One of Rainn Wilson's most famous roles was as Dwight Schrute on The Office. According to Celebrity Net Worth, like Paul Lieberstein, the actor has a net worth of $14 million, and just like his co-stars Jenna and Jim, would also earn at least $100,000 per episode in the later seasons.
Quotes. Dwight Schrute : When I was in the 6th grade, I was a finalist in our school spelling bee. It was me against Raj Patel. I misspelled, in front of the entire school, the word "failure."
Dwight Schrute : I never smile if I can help it. Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life.
Rainn Wilson (Dwight) has a large, unexplained broken blood vessel in his right eye in the episode. It can be most clearly seen in the scene when Andy and Dwight are arguing over Angela (13:00-14:00) and during his talking head segment.
Some of Michael Scott's behaviors fit with the description of histrionic personality disorder, namely that he likes to be the center of attention, uses impressionistic speech, considers relationships to be more intimate than they actually are, and even shows self-dramatization at times.

Asperger Syndrome has some similarities with NPD and could possibly explain certain aspects of this his social ineptness, although NPD seems to be more accurate diagnosis of this fictional character's condition.
Sheldon Cooper has long been speculated to have autism. However, according to the producers of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon Cooper isn't actually autistic.
While Dwight might have been loyal to Michael mostly for his own career, Michael never really respected Dwight's hard work. He always insisted on putting Dwight in his place. He was willing to let Dwight take on extra responsibility and order him around, but he didn't actually want to give Dwight any props or a title.
Michael Scott, the character from the American version of The Office, exhibits several behaviors that are similar to those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), but it is important to note that ADHD is a clinical diagnosis and cannot be diagnosed based on fictional characters.
Though the Jim slap was scripted, Rainn Wilson was surprised at the timing of the hit. Wilson had also asked John Krasinski to slap harder throughout takes. While the sales team is standing in the parking lot, the actors feign cold shivers with winter gear; in actuality, it was 85 degrees.
She said, “It's a type of relationship that is very intimate, and it's very powerful, but it's fictional. I mean, there is a part of me that is Pam, and there's a part of him that is Jim, and that part of me is in love with that part of him. But in real life, we are just friends.”
