Nezuko Kamado (Japanese: 竈門 禰豆子, Hepburn: Kamado Nezuko) is a fictional character in Koyoharu Gotouge's manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
In Japanese, Nezuko's given name is written 禰豆子, with each character corresponding to one syllable.
The name Nezuko is commonly given to female babies in Japan, but anyone can bear the name regardless of gender or nationality.
Zenitsu crushing on Nezuko. Upon seeing her for the first time, Zenitsu falls in love with Nezuko at first sight. She apparently views Zenitsu as a "weird dandelion" and did not initially seem to reciprocate his feelings. When the series starts Nezuko is 12-years-old since she is one year younger than her brother. Between the first chapter and the end of chapter 5, time has gone and two years have passed. While stuck physically at age 12 because of the whole demon thing, Nezuko is 14 chronologically.

It is a relatively simple name, Tanjiro Kamado, but Inosuke can only seem to remember it once out of every seven times. Sometimes going as far as giving him completely different names that are nowhere near his name. Examples include Kamaboko Gonpachiro, Itadaki Tontaro, and Shakakiri Gengoro.
It is unclear if the curse branded to her by Muzan got lifted or not, but she can't speak a word after turning into a demon, and always has a muzzle in her mouth. As Nezuko can't speak Muzan's name out loud, she can't be affected by the curse.

Tanjirou's younger sister Nezuko, having been turned into a demon at the age of 12, returns to action in Demon Slayer Season 2: Entertainment District arc. However, chronologically, she is now 14 years old.

However, she wasn't immune to the sunlight initially, as she got burned badly at first. So, in conclusion, her coming from a Sun Breathing user's lineage and not relying on human substance are perhaps the reasons for her immunity.
According to the creator of Demon Slayer, Koyoharu Gotouge, Nezuko's biological age is 12. This means that while she has been alive for 14 years, her body has only aged to the point of a 12-year-old.
Unlike other demons who survive on blood, Nezuko never really needs it, and she doesn't even consume human food either. Moreover, Nezuko has never shown any signs of undernourishment as she is always ready to assist her brother with her overwhelming strength and deadly Blood Demon Art.
At 14, just a year younger than Tanjiro and Inosuke, Nezuko is very much the baby out of the four. She's also the youngest character in the main cast. Nezuko's short stature makes her look a lot younger than she appears — her wide eyes and diminutive features seem rather childlike.

Zenitsu also protects Nezuko multiple times when she is in danger, evident during Zenitsu's first meeting with Inosuke Hashibira and the battle against Enmu in the train. Eventually Zenitsu and Nezuko would marry and start a family as evidenced by their descendants.
Usage of the technique however is highly dangerous, as the tremendous strain caused to the eyes ruptured blood vessels and could cause partial or complete blindness. Kanao used the Final Form to defeat Doma, although it rendered her almost blind in her right eye.
After the final battle
It is confirmed in the Volume 23 extras that Inosuke and Aoi did eventually end up together and that they have two great-grandsons, one of which is Aoba.
