After an intense battle and the support from Uzui's wives, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu, the demons are defeated. However, Uzui loses one of his arms and an eye in the fight, leaving Tengen Uzui with no choice but to retire from the Demon Slayer Corps.
Even after losing his left hand to Gyutaro, Tengen was able to fight the Upper Rank on even terms due to completing the Musical Score, allowing him to deflect Gyutaro's attacks, cut off his arm and pin him down at the cost of losing his left eye.

With the loss of his left hand and left eye, Tengen Uzui decides to retire after his battle with Daki and Gyutaro. He is the second Hashira to retire due to being disabled. The first Hashira to retire from this was Jigoro Kuwajima, Zentisu's master and the former Thunder Hashira.
Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength.
The core components of a Demon Slayer's strength comes down to one's Breathing Style, battle IQ, and physical strength. These are even more important for those at the Hashira level, who will likely combat Kizuki rank demons regularly. In these three regards, Tengen Uzui is far from the weakest Hashira.
The unnamed ninja of the Uzui family is the father of Tengen Uzui and eight other unnamed siblings, and is a sociopathic and abusive ninja clan leader who sees his clan's survival over his family.
Kunoichis wear that kind of clothing because seduction is a skill in which they are trained. A ninja clan sees Kunoichis as tools and uses them as such, because of that, since they can't match the male ninjas in overall strength, their sex appeal is strongly explored and enforced by the clan.
1 Gyomei Himejima - The Stone Hashira
The oldest of the bunch, the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima is 27 years old.
After his retirement from the Demon Slayer Corps due to the injuries his sustained during his fight with Gyutaro, Tengen changes his appearance to coordinate the loss of his left eye and hand.

This unique mark appears on the body of a powerful demon slayer and appears to be a tattoo or a birthmark that reflects the breathing style that they use. Once it appears on a demon slayer, it is an indication that they've achieved incredible power beyond their normal limits.
Uzui's Greatest Weakness Is His Wives
During the "Entertainment District" arc, Uzui told Inosuke and Tanjiro to abandon the mission when Zenitsu was captured, and he is more concerned with his wives' safety than his own.
After the final battle
It is confirmed in the Volume 23 extras that Inosuke and Aoi did eventually end up together and that they have two great-grandsons, one of which is Aoba.
Tengen holds a large amount of respect for his wives and cares about them deeply. When Tengen joined the Demon Slayer Corps, he made sure to inform his wives that they needed to prioritize their lives instead of the mission, and make sure to return home to him.
Makio is actually a distant cousin of Tengen's.
Tanjiro tells the audience that Tengen's family practices polygamy, the custom of having more than one spouse at a time. Supposedly, at the age of 15, the head of the family picks out three compatible wives for their son, but that's not always the case.
Suma. Suma is the youngest of Tengen Uzui's wives. Although she is bisexual, Suma overtook her younger sister, who was meant to be Tengen's wife, by approaching Tengen herself when she barged into the marriage interview. Suma tends to be overdramatic, cowardly, and showcasing a damsel in distress personality.
After becoming a Hashira, Tengen knew that his life would come to an end one day, so he started living a flashy life and became the most flamboyant individual in the series. His flashiness is a reminder that one day he is going to die, and that is why he started living life like there was no tomorrow.
Nezuko setting Tengen on fire. By the end of the battle, Gyutaro's poison has spread throughout Tengen's body resulting in his inability to speak. As he lays dying from the poison, Nezuko Kamado intervenes and uses her her Blood Demon Art to burn the poison out of his system, allowing him to rejoice with his wives.
But there is one who is the friendliest of them all, and that is Kiyogiro Rangoku, the Flame Hashira. Among the pillars, there is not a single negative thing revolving Rangoku. Such an honest guy, and his character influences others positively. In Demon Slayer, Liu and Rangoku are not shown to have any interactions.
7 The Love Hashira - Mitsuri Kanroji
Kanroji first joined the Demon Slayer Corps not to improve on her own fighting abilities, but to find a suitable husband, as she believes her husband must be stronger than she is.
