However, we know of four unregistered Animagi: Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail), who can transform into a rat,
They are James Potter, Sirius, Wormtail, Skeeter, McGonagall, Talbott Winger, and an unnamed witch who can turn into a cat. The fact that there are so few Animagi just causes us fans to want to know more about them. After all, they are some of the most unique characters in all of Harry Potter.
After framing Sirius Black for the crimes of betraying James and Lily Potter and murdering twelve muggles, Pettigrew went into hiding in his Animagus form, and disguised himself as a rat named Scabbers. He came into the possession of Percy Weasley, who eventually handed him down to his younger brother Ron.
Pettigrew's Animagus form was a rat, from which his nickname "Wormtail" was derived. The four friends called themselves the Marauders and designed a map to navigate Hogwarts.
Scabbers was actually Peter Pettigrew in his Animagus form. After tricking Sirius, Pettigrew transformed into a rat and stayed that way for twelve years, from November 1981 to June 1994, living as Percy and then Ron's pet, Scabbers, in order to hide from the Death Eaters who thought he had betrayed Voldemort.
The Animagus transformation is one of a very few forms of magic that can be performed in a controlled manner without a Wand. Sirius and Wormtail have displayed the ability to transform into their Animagus shapes without wands.
Ron got Splinched
Splinching, according to Apparition Instructor Wilkie Twycross, happens when a wizard's mind isn't focused, meaning that while one part of you may teleport to your destination, you may end up leaving another part of your body behind.
“A creature I wouldn't want to kiss . . . a spider!” Harry figures out the riddle, and realizes that a spider is about to attack. But what he doesn't realize is what I now believe: that the spider in the maze is Professor Snape, in his Animagus form. It is Spider/Snape who bears down on Cedric and Harry.
For example: if Viktor Krum can transfigure his head into a shark's, like he does in Goblet of Fire, that doesn't mean he is an Animagus. Transfiguration is a form of spell-casting, whereas becoming an Animagus is forever. And yes, he could turn into a falcon.
Hermione is the brightest witch of her age, and she would be the first in the group to successfully transform into her Animagus form, a rather fitting fox.
Voldemort was never given a reason to become an Animagus. We know his greatest desire is to be immortal, and being an Animagus would not help this. On the other hand, being an Animagus would not give him any special power in clearing his way to immortality. Killing curse is usually enough for him.
Strikingly, Harry's Patronus was a stag and his mother Lily's was a doe, a female deer, showing that the family's characters were in harmony and formed part of the same animal group.
At Hogwarts, she, along with her sisters, was sorted into Slytherin. It is suggested in the novels that, as a student, Bellatrix associated with a group of students – including Rodolphus Lestrange, Severus Snape, Avery, Evan Rosier and Wilkes – who nearly all became Death Eaters.
Animagus. Lily's animagus form is a Doe, coupling with her husband, James Potter who is a Stag.
Also one's Patronus and Animagus forms can be the same. So by that logic it is fairly plausible that Dumbledore's Animagus form could have been a Phoenix.
Because there was no need for him to become one. Besides he had lot of other important stuff going on in school unlike his father and his friends who were determined to help Lupin.
Following both ordeals, Ginny grew into a confident young woman. Her and her friends followed in the footsteps of a previous generation, completely unbeknownst to them, and became Animagi at the age of fourteen, to support their best friend, Maisie Cattermole. Ginny took the form of a grey mare.
Godric Gryffindor never died. He is an animagus that took the form of a phoenix and can no longer transform back to his human form due to it being so old.
He probably did suspect it. In fact I think early in the book Harry mentions to Lupin that he has had an encounter with the Grim - a big, shaggy, black dog. So Lupin almost certainly knows that Sirius is using his animagus for to stay out of sight, if not to break out of Azkaban or into Hogwarts.
Was Voldemort an Animagus? No, Voldemort was not an Animagus. He didn't see any reason to become an Animagus despite being a gifted wizard and knowing a lot of magic. This may simply be because his sole purpose was to obtain immortality and become the strongest wizard who could control the world around him.
Draco's boggart would likely be in the form of the Grim Reaper with young Malfoy's own face under its hood. Surprisingly, Lord Voldemort was not Draco's greatest fear.
Falco Aesalon — Falcon; the first recorded Animagus; the registration system was not in existence in his time.
When Harry and Hermione are on the first floor of Bathilda's house, Nagini (inside the corpse of Bathilda) tells Harry to "Come!" from the next room in Parseltongue. In reaction, Hermione jumps and clutches Harry's arm, and the two of them obey the command.
After being on the run from a bunch of Snatchers, the gang were taken to Malfoy Manor, where Bellatrix proceeded to torture Hermione using the Cruciatus Curse. It was a testament to Hermione's toughness that she was able to walk away without lasting damage.
Harry, despite his training, is unable to properly apparate throughout the course of the series. He and Dumbledore try to apparate to a cave where a Horcrux is hidden in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but they are unable to do so because of the cave's magical defences.
