Tanjiro's sharp sense of smell has always been his strongest, albeit strangest, ability. His nose has saved his life and given him an advantage over his enemies more than any of his
Tanjiro's most notable attribute is his ability to empathize with anyone, even demons, which often makes him hesitate before delivering the final blow.
1/10 Tenth Form: Constant Flux/The Dragon of Change
The most powerful water move in Tanjiro's current skill set, this is a form that gets more and more powerful with each rotation that he puts in. It's number one on the list because it has, theoretically, no ceiling when it comes to its intensity.
However, the thirteenth form is the one that would land the final blow on Muzan. This form is a repetition of every Sun Breathing form performed in succession that would kill Muzan by hurting all of his vital organs.
Like Muzan, Tanjiro also gains the power to grow tentacles from his back with sharp blades that move at an immense speed.
Other than the Hinokami Kagura, other techniques that Tanjiro learned from his father are the Transparent World and the Selfless State. Transparent World is a technique that allows its users to foresee any kinds of attacks.
The black blade represents the Sun and is surrounded by prejudice and misconceptions, as historically every demon slayer who held it lived a short life. This could mean that Tanjirou is destined to break the pattern and set a new legend for black Nichirin blades in the Demon Slayer universe.
Tanjiro is certainly strong in his own right, and he's strong enough to defeat many of the characters in the series, whether they be demon or Demon Slayer. But he's also basically a newbie within the Demon Slayer Corps, so there are still plenty of characters still able to defeat him.
1) Demon Tanjiro
It is important to note that Tanjiro also received every last drop of Muzan's blood, which was way more than what any other demon from the Upper Moon had. As a result, he became the strongest demon in Demon Slayer.
In the very far chapters of the manga, before being killed by the Demon Slayers, Muzan passes on his feelings and powers to Tanjiro. After turning into a Demon, Tanjiro is able to develop resistance to sunlight, making him the second Demon after Nezuko to be able to do so.
The Thirteenth Form of the Sun Breathing Style is unique in the sense that it doesn't really have a name of its own. Rather, it's a combination of all the twelve forms present in this style, used in succession to maximize their power. This move was devised by Tanjiro solely to defeat Muzan.
There are 14 different Breathing Styles Demon Slayer's can make use of, and most typically specialize in one during their time in the corps.
7/10 Fourth Form: Striking Tide
The very first Water Breathing technique shown by Tanjiro during the Final Examination arc is the fourth form. After taking a moment to focus on his breathing technique, Tanjiro deftly rotates his body in a full circle and unleashes two strong horizontal attacks.
In the memories, Tanjiro observes Yoriichi performing 12 of the Sun Breathing formations, which help him perfect his usage of the technique. It is thanks to Sumiyoshi that the movements are passed down through the generations and eventually become known as the Hinokami Kagura.
As it turns out, Tanjiro has received a few promotions during his service. However, saying that Tanjiro has become a Kanoe doesn't mean much on its own. The Corps' ranks and functions are fairly straightforward.
Demon King Tanjiro technically is the strongest Demon and possibly the strongest character in Kimetsu no Yaiba. He's immune to sunlight. That means the red Nichirin won't affect him and nothing can possibly kill him.
To sum it up, Tanjiro exceeded everyone's expectations by far, as nobody would have thought that a kid who had a hard time swallowing the fact that demons exist could become a strong compelling opponent with a Breathing Technique that is the paramount of all the known Techniques.
Mitsuri Kanroji is another Hashira who Tanjiro could definitely beat in Demon Slayer. Mitsuri's main trick up her sleeve is her muscle composition, which makes her muscles eight times denser than that of a normal human's. In other words, she's incredibly strong and powerful, and tough with plenty of endurance as well.
He, alongside Kyojuro Rengoku, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Gyomei Himejima, are the only four Demon Slayer heroes to be Pure Good. In addition to all three of the latter being Hashira, Tanjiro's the only Pure Good to be only be an average Demon Slayer and one of the main characters to be Pure Good.
Tanjiro Is Strong, and Stronger than Zenitsu as he uses Sun Breathing. BUT! Tanjiro isn't Faster Than Zenitsu, not at all.
Black. Toho Co., Ltd. Black is the most mysterious color of all the blades, and is held by the main character, Tanjiro. It is a rare blade and represents the sun; it also holds a theory that the demon slayers who own this sword are not to live a long life.
When Haganezuka sees Tanjiro's reddish hair, he becomes hopeful that he will get to see a bright red Nichirin sword. However, once Tanjiro unsheathes his weapon, the blade turns a dark black, to the concern of Urokodaki and the anger of Haganezuka.
When Tanjiro first got his Nichirin Sword on Demon Slayer, and it changed color to match the personality of its user like all Nichirin weapons do, many fans were surprised that Tanjiro's katana turned black.
