In this alternate ending to Game of Thrones, the final battle between Daenerys Targaryen and
Daenerys was pregnant in an alternate ending of season 8, but the scene got discarded as an explanation was missing and little is known about it because it was never released.
The Game of Thrones ending saw the Iron Throne destroyed, the old system of choosing Kings and Queens eradicated, Bran Stark (Isaac hempstead Wright) elected as the new King of Westeros, and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) ruling the North as an independent kingdom.
From the beginning to the ending of Game of Thrones, it was Westeros that failed her, and Daenerys lost everything in her quest for the Iron Throne. So she finally snapped and unleashed all of her frustrations, grief, and pure rage on King's Landing.
Unfortunately, this did not happen, and fans created alternative endings. This was until the studio released a production documentary on YouTube. It showed some deleted scenes from the show's finale, and one such shot was that of Daenerys Targaryen with a baby bump.
After decades of fan theories and mysterious clues dropped on HBO's "Game of Thrones," the series revealed Jon Snow to be the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. That means Daenerys Targaryen is Jon Snow's aunt.
What has Daenerys said about her inability to have children? Dany saw Mirri's prophecy as a curse, and believes she will never be able to give birth to human babies. Instead, she considers her dragons to be her children. When warlocks of Qarth steal her dragons, Jorah tries to convince her to leave them behind.
However, the dragon also seemingly knows that Jon, ultimately, isn't to blame for Daenerys' death and that he's a person his mother loved. Drogon, the finale's script notes, "wants to burn the world, but he will not kill Jon."
She is called The Unburnt because she walked into the flames and lived. But her brother sure as hell wasn't immune to that molten gold. Daenerys survived the flames when her dragons were born thanks to a mysterious, magical mix of Mirri Maz Duur, sacrifice, and dragon eggs.
Sansa had reason to distrust Daenerys. The Mad King killed her uncle and grandfather, and Sansa was at the mercy of a queen while a hostage in King's Landing. However, she rebuffs the Dragon Queen even when Daenerys risks her life to defend Sansa's home against the Night King.
It gives us a decent idea of what Drogon did with Dany's body after he melted the Iron Throne and flew away from King's Landing. As theorised by Samwell Tarly in the finale, the dragon flew her to Volantis, where she'd grown up in exile after the death of her father, and cremated her body in line with family tradition.
In this alternate ending to Game of Thrones, the final battle between Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow occurs, but it doesn't end well. Daenerys manages to defeat Jon and his forces, and she becomes the sole ruler of Westeros. However, her reign is marked by cruelty and tyranny.
"Yes, there is a Jon Snow show in development," Thrones author George R. R. Martin wrote on his blog after the news came out. "Our working title for the show is SNOW." In the final season, Snow discovered his name was Aegon Targaryen, that he was possibly an heir to the Iron Throne.
Upon entering, Daenerys finds herself back in her former home while on the Dothraki Sea in Drogo's tent. Before her are her dead husband and child, both alive again. Rhaego is seen as a small adorable boy in the arms of Drogo.
A number of characters were killed during the Battle of Winterfell. Daenerys lost nearly her entire Dothraki army, as well as Jorah Mormont.
Despite being saved by Daenerys from being raped by the tribe's warriors, however, the priestess betrays her and the magic ritual results in Daenerys's unborn child being stillborn and leaves Drogo in a catatonic state. Because Drogo will never recover, Daenerys smothers him with a pillow.
The great power of the Targaryens over Westeros is due almost entirely to their unique mastery of dragons. To mount a dragon, it is thought that one must have the blood of Old Valyrian dragonriders flowing through them. House Targaryen ruled Westeros as the only family with this ancestry,...
The Targaryen family hails from Old Valyria, where lighter skin tones and hair colours were particularly common. As a result, the family had white or silvery blonde hair. The Targaryens have been able to keep their distinguishing Valyrian characteristics due to years of inbreeding.
As the author himself once said in an online chat with ASOIF fans, in his book universe, Targaryens are not immune from fire—Dany surviving the dragon birth was a miracle. TARGARYENS ARE NOT IMMUNE TO FIRE!
The most likely of these, which has been speculated since the finale, is that Drogon went back to Valyria. This is where dragons originated, after all, and Drogon was flying around there in season 5, so it's somewhere he's familiar with.
Only Drogon survived the end of Game of Thrones - last seen furiously melting the Iron Throne before flying off with Daenerys' dead body. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss later confirmed Drogon went to Volantis, a southern coastal city in Essos founded by ancient Valyrians.
Drogon Destroyed The Iron Throne
This scene conveyed Drogon trusted Jon to a considerable extent, most likely next to the Mother of Dragons. Drogon knew the destruction that Daenerys' pursuit of the Iron Throne has caused. He'd lost his brothers in the war, and he was wounded just like everyone else around him.
DANY: Post-Traumatic Growth
While most people have heard of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), few have heard of Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG) which can be used to sum up Dany's evolution.
Khal Drogo was the husband of Daenerys Targaryen and, like Ned Stark, didn't live to see a second season. The Dothraki warrior died after succumbing to an infected wound, with Mirri Maz Durr placing him in a catatonic state before Dany smothers him with a pillow.
First of Her Name
Rulers of Westeros were sometimes named after previous kings and queens. The Mad King Aerys, for example, was actually the second Aerys Targaryen to sit on the Iron Throne. "The First of Her Name" signifies that Daenerys is the first queen named Daenerys to rule the Seven Kingdoms.
