The Forbidden Forms were forms of lightsaber combat used by the Sith during the Sith Wars. According to the testimonies of the Jedi Cervil the Uncanny,
Knowledge of Form VII became restricted among the Jedi Order, whose members were worried that its precepts would lead practitioners toward the dark side. In contrast, members of the Sith, such as Darth Maul, employed Juyo without reservation, as did Dark Jedi such as Galen Marek.
Form VII, known by its two primary disciplines of Juyo and Vaapad; and also known as The Ferocity Form, was the seventh form of lightsaber combat. It was considered the most aggressive and unpredictable form.
However, this method was greatly frowned upon, and was almost never used by either the Sith or the Jedi. The Sith claimed that it showed weakness and demonstrated a lack of power, while the Jedi claimed that this form was unsportsmanlike. Regardless, this lightsaber form was not widely used.
Sokan was a form of lightsaber combat. Developed by the ancient Jedi Knights during the Great Sith War, Sokan combined tactics that allowed for evasion and mobility with the kinetic motions of Form V combat.
Kathracite crystals were the weakest of the Adegan crystrals and often used to create training lightsabers for the younglings who were apart of the Jedi Order. They produced a weak pale green blade which produced very little heat and was impossible to inflict wounds.
Vader's son, Luke Skywalker, learned Form V in part by mirroring the swordplay of his father in their first duel, and the younger Skywalker ultimately defeated his father with his use of Form V during their second duel.
During this battle, Darach employs a Trakata maneuver to deliver a fatal blow to Vindican. However, Trakata is also easily as dangerous with a single blade, which is demonstrated in Cal Kestis' fight against the Second Sister in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Darth Sidious was also one of the greatest and most skilled Sith swordmasters, as he has mastered all the seven lightsaber forms, all their stances and techniques and is capable of using each form equally effective ambidextrously.
Through the Force, Yoda was considered to have mastered Form IV to its highest level. He used it in almost all of his battles, and his mastery of the style caused others to describe him as virtually unstoppable against most opponents, including Separatist battle droids, despite his small size and advanced age.
History. Practitioners of Form IV included Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn, Aayla Secura, Ezra Bridger, the Grand Inquisitor, and Anakin Skywalker. Yoda was a master of Form IV.
She was framed for the bombing of the Jedi Temple, and later, cold-blooded murder. As a result, the Jedi Order expelled her, and she escaped from prison to clear her name. While resourceful and determined, Ahsoka walked from one trap into another, and was eventually apprehended.
Form IV: Ataru
Due to its aggressive nature, Ataru became the favored combat style for many Sith and is marked as the second most kinetically active combat form, aside from Form VII.
Obi-Wan Kenobi used Form III.
Personality. Cal Kestis served the Jedi Order as a Padawan before Order 66 ensued.
Cal Kestis' second lightsaber first appeared in the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Although the canon color of the weapon's blade is blue, its kyber crystal can be customized with the other possible colors of green, orange, purple, yellow, indigo, cyan, and magenta.
However, Mace Windu—the legendary Jedi Master who popularized purple lightsabers—made modifications to Form VII that aligned it with Jedi philosophy and earned the endorsement of the Council. Windu's Jedi-approved variant of Form VII is known as Vaapad.

Anakin Skywalker carried this blue-bladed Jedi weapon throughout the Clone Wars. After dueling his former apprentice on Mustafar, Obi-Wan Kenobi took Anakin's lightsaber and kept it on Tatooine for nearly two decades. He gave it to Luke Skywalker, who lost it when Darth Vader struck off his son's hand in Cloud City.
The Firebrand was a basic design of lightsaber hilt that was used by Jedi Initiates as well as Knights of the New Jedi Order as of 14 ABY. An all black hilt, it was known to have a stable grip and was equipped with a thin deflector ring to protect the wielder from energy backlash.
While he is not Force-sensitive, Grievous has been trained in all forms of lightsaber combat by Count Dooku. Each of his mechanical arms can separate in half, allowing him to wield four lightsabers at once to overwhelm his enemies.
