Overall, the most common personality type is ISFJ
The most common personality type is the ISFJ personality type, known as 'The Protector'. This type occurs in 14% of the population. It is also the most common personality type among women. ISFJ stands for Introversion, Sensing, Feeling and Judging.
ENFJs are the second-rarest personality type, making up only 2.2% of the population. These insightful, compelling types tend to know just the right buttons to push to motivate people towards their goals.
Sadly, INFPs ranked the lowest for happiness as well as the lowest for life-satisfaction. According to the third edition of the MBTI® Manual, these types also ranked second highest in dissatisfaction with their marriages and intimate relationships.
People with an ESFJ-type personality — which stands for Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging — are the most satisfied.
INTJ: One of The Rarest, Loneliest Personality Types [Introverts and Writing]
According to the MBTI® Manual ENTJs are the type least likely to suppress anger and least likely to show anger.
“INTJ is the rarest personality type for women.” In fact, at about 0.5 percent of the population, INTJ women might be the rarest of any gender/type combination (perhaps only rivaled by INFJ men).
People with strong personalities are assertive, focused, determined, and proactive. Tapping into this empowering combination of qualities, they are effective as leaders, teachers, students, creators, administrators, supervisors, and entrepreneurs.
Extroverts, sensors, thinkers, and judgers tend to be the most financially successful personality types, according to new research.
They're probably ISFJs, who feel super uncomfortable with the prospect of hurting anyone's feelings. "They tend to be wallflowers and can sometimes stumble over their words," says Owens. They'll likely skip the inflammatory family dinner conversation—even if they're Zooming in from thousands of miles away.
The introverted (I) intuitive (N) types (“INs”)—INFJ, INFP, INTJ and INTP—are among the most “sensitive” of the personality types.
Intuitive Thinking personality types are the most likely of all of the types to be argumentative, according to research led by Donald Loffredo, Ed. D, at the University of Houston. ENTJs in particular tended to score as highly argumentative.
Probably the best that can be said is that it is easiest to make the case for the INFP, INTP, or ISTP as the most introverted personality type.
ISTPs are the most unpredictable of the 16 personality types, because they're typically rational and logical, but can also be enthusiastic and spontaneous.
ESFP personality types sometimes have trouble meeting deadlines, and do not always finish what they start. They can get easily distracted.
They're Optimistic
A happy person is generally an optimistic person. That doesn't mean that things always go well for them. Sometimes, unfortunate events happen to them too. However, in most situations, they're glass-half-full kinds of people.
Only INFJ, INTJ, ESFP and ESTJ seem to be strong in mathematics. All other types should focus on the subject and can potentially improve their scores. INFP and INTP types especially need to pay attention to mathematics.
Many ENTJs talk to themselves as a way to process their thoughts.
