The 4 types of dyslexia include phonological dyslexia, surface dyslexia, rapid naming deficit, and double deficit dyslexia.

In 60% of cases the dyslexia may be mild to moderate, but the remaining 40% of people can struggle with a severe form that interrupts literacy skills development when early support is not put in place.

The BDA Accredited Level 5 Certificate in Dyslexia: Literacy, Support and Intervention enables you to be a specialist teacher with learners with literacy difficulties/dyslexia.
