I entrust my mother into your gracious care, and look to you with faith and hope in everlasting life, to comfort me in my grief and pain. I ask this in your powerful name, Amen. Lord Jesus Christ, you are the name above every other name. As I mourn the passing of my mother, may I find safety and comfort in your name.
I pray to thee, dear God, that through Jesus Christ, my mom enjoys a new life in heaven. It is through Jesus, the Christ, that my mom now lives in heaven and is at peace, suffering no more. I watched my mother suffer and die, dear God. I know that she now makes her home with you and is happy in heaven.
O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, that You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life's hardships.
Mary, my dear Mother, please always accompany my Spiritual Mothers. I place them in your beautiful hands. Put your mantle over them to cover them with peace. May they always look to You as their example of how to be a mother.
Mother most Admirable, you make all things easy for us.
O Mother of Jesus, we come to you as to a living spring to quench our thirst, or as to a fire to warm our hearts. You are the light of dawn that dispels our darkness, the Mother always attentive to the distress of her children.
We beg you, dear Mother, to teach us to do as Jesus did. Teach us to accept our cross courageously. We trust you, most Merciful Mother, so teach us to sacrifice for all the sinners in the world. Help us to follow in your Son's footsteps, and even to be willing to lay down our lives for others.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace in our mind, body, soul and spirit. We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in our lives. Please guide our path through life and make our enemies be at peace with us.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
After your parent passes away, you can memorialize your time with them through creative efforts such as songs, books, art, dinners, etc. You may also honor them with a funeral or memorial service, a creative urn, jewelry made from ashes, and times together with family and friends.
To my mother in heaven, thank you for always loving me and guiding me. Even though you are no longer here with me I can still feel your love guiding me. You are always in my heart. I love you and miss you dearly.
Psalm 118. In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
I need to know that you care, that you love me, be my refuge from pain, replacing my distress with peace, and be my strength when I feel weak and find it hard to carry on. Help me not to fear the future but to boldly trust that you are in control when my emotions plunge me down, and when I am in despair.

Cover them with your great wings of love, give their weary hearts rest and their minds sound sleep. Lord, lift their eyes so that they may catch a glimpse of eternity, and be comforted by the promise of heaven. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
“I'm so sorry for your loss.” “I want to express sympathy for your loss. I'm sure it's extremely difficult to go through this.” “I know this is a difficult time, but my thoughts are with you and your family as you grieve.”
A simple 'I'm with you' or 'I'm thinking of you' could be exactly what they want to hear. If you know the person who's died, you could also say something about what they meant to you. Try to avoid phrases like 'I know how you feel' though, because everyone experiences grief differently.
She acknowledges God in all her ways. She takes her children before the throne of grace and presents them to Jesus, pleading for His blessing upon them. The influence of those prayers is to those children as 'a wellspring of life. ' These prayers, offered in faith, are the support and strength of the Christian mother.
