Vermiscus is an orange liquid that orginates from the Wyrm.
The willow worm is actually the larva of a very small wasp called a sawfly (Nematus desantisi). The sawfly inserts its fertilized eggs inside the leaves of the willow trees lining the rivers. When the eggs hatch, the larvae begin to feed on the leaves and grow in size.
But they did manage to save Airk (Dempsey Bryk), reviving him from his evil transformed state. The final moments revealed Graydon waking on the same battlefield from Willow's nightmares, only to find a short-haired Elora inviting him to join her and her army so that they could rule the world.
