Black: Our readers often describe black as a “powerful” color, which might be the reason why black is the most popular color for luxury vehicles. People often describe the color as sexy, powerful, mysterious, and even ominous.
In color psychology, red is the most intense color. And thus, can provoke the strongest emotions. Red can also trigger danger so you want to use the color sparingly.
The most popular color in the world is blue. The second favorite colors are red and green, followed by orange, brown and purple. Yellow is the least favorite color, preferred by only five percent of people.
Seeing Red
It is a bold and energetic colour that portrays strength, confidence and power. Red is arguably the most stimulating of all the colours because of its effects on the psyche; like being able to reduce analytical thinking.
The color red is often used to send messages of confidence to the public. In color psychology, red elicits the greatest feelings of any color. While calmer colors like green and blue are typically considered serene and soothing, red is the hottest and most emotional color.
Red, orange and yellow are the 3 colors you want to wear to project power. “But I hate red! It reminds me of blood and anger.” Red is the most stimulating color.
When it comes to visible light, the highest frequency color, which is violet, also has the most energy. The lowest frequency of visible light, which is red, has the least energy.
Blue the Color of Peace
As a primary color (and the most popular color on the spectrum), blue is a building block for many other colors and shades, but in its purest form, blue represents peace and tranquility.
Red: Excitement, energy, passion, love, desire, speed, strength, power, heat, aggression, danger, fire, blood, war, violence, all things intense and passionate.
Blue is one of the rarest of colors in nature. Even the few animals and plants that appear blue don't actually contain the color. These vibrant blue organisms have developed some unique features that use the physics of light.
Pantone 448 C is a colour in the Pantone colour system. Described as a drab dark brown and informally dubbed the "ugliest colour in the world", it was selected in 2012 as the colour for plain tobacco and cigarette packaging in Australia, after market researchers determined that it was the least attractive colour.
Marrs green is a shade of green that in 2017 was named "The World's Favourite Colour" in a major global survey by the British paper merchant G . F Smith. It is a rich teal hue. The colour was submitted by Annie Marrs, a UNESCO worker from Dundee, who was inspired by the River Tay.
Red. The colour most commonly associated with love, it makes sense to have this one up top. From blushed cheeks and ruby lips to love-hearts and roses, red is a fiery colour that conjures up feelings of passion and intensity.

According to color psychologists, the most stressful and anxiety-inducing color is 'red'. Red room ideas can be too intense for some people – could your red decor be one of the reasons why your friends hate your house? It reminds us of danger and is a color that makes you angry.
Red has the lowest energy and violet the highest. Beyond red and violet are many other kinds of light our human eyes can't see, much like there are sounds our ears can't hear. On one end of the electromagnetic spectrum are radio waves, which have wavelengths billions of times longer than those of visible light.
Well, remember that the purple end of the spectrum has the highest energy of visible light, and what's just beyond, the ultraviolet, is even higher energy.
The more light the object absorbs, the more heat absorbed since light is energy. If you consider it a color, black absorbs the most heat. A black object absorbs all wavelengths of light and reflects none. Objects that are white, on the other hand, reflect all wavelengths of light and therefore absorb the least heat.
Grey. According to color psychology, the color grey implies a dark state of mind, a colorless and monotonous life; grey is also associated with misery and depression, so it is easy to see why it is a color that is known to cause anxiety.
Research studies discovered red to be the best color light to help you sleep, because it increases production of melatonin as well as full darkness. On the other end of the spectrum, blue is the worst.
Universally, studies show that blue is both men and women's primary preferred color. One study dove into why blue is so popular and found that it's associated with clean water, clear skies, authority, truth and tranquility. Both men and women also like green and red as top favorite colors.
Most scientific studies report that both boys and girls prefer primary colors, chief among them blue. Yet when it comes to pink, girls in the U.S. and Great Britain choose the color significantly more often than their male peers.
Yellow, according to science but perhaps not that surprising that yellow has been declared the happiest colour in the world! Research suggests that the brain associates yellow with sunlight, which helps to lift our mood and as well as being the source of life on earth.
