The Friesian is widely recognized as the most beautiful breed of horse in the world. With a muscular build, the Friesian is almost always all-black in color, with a long and wavy mane and tail and feathering at the feet. Friesians originated from the Netherlands and were once used as war horses.
The Akhal-Teke horse is considered to be one of the most beautiful horse breeds in the world due to it's metallic-like shine to it's fur, giving this breed the appearance of golden and bronze statues almost. In Turkmenistan, this breed is the national horse breed and there is even known as 'the golden horse'.
Thoroughbred. Thoroughbreds are the most popular racing horse in North America. This breed is considered a "hot-blooded" horse, which means it's known for its agility, speed, and spirit.
Arabian horse. Arabian horses have always been considered to be highly loyal and exceptionally elegant. These patient horses were the desert people's pride and joy.
Khadi is a Perlino horse, an usual breed defined by their cream coats and pink skin and their blue or glass eyes. Because of this, they are sometimes called pseudo-albino horses. The cream colour can vary from a very pale off white to a pale coffee colour, but shines through pink under their short summer coats.

Black horses aren't exactly rare but are seen as uncommon among breeds. There are two different types of black horses: Fading black horses have a black color that fades into brown when the horse gets exposed to regular sunlight.
The Curly is a very special type of horse. Not only is it a very pretty equine, but it is widely famous for its fur, which gave it its name. The fur of a Curly is - you guessed it - curly! The history of this horse goes as far back as the 1600's and it's believed that the Curly might have sprung from wild mustangs.
Mares have a bad reputation for being moody or grumpy, but recent studies have shown that they're actually better behaved than geldings! Much of this stigma is related to human sexist ideas of male versus female behavior. Mares usually compete equally with geldings and stallions (see next section).
What is this? The cheapest horse breeds tend to be Quarter Horses, Arabians, Thoroughbreds and wild Mustangs. Although you can usually find cheaper horses within each of these breeds, you will need to keep a few things in mind.
Our research found that about 8% of horses are grey, this makes grey horses unusal but not rare. Grey horses are unusual because, due to how color fades slowly, a grey horse is only visibly grey for 3 to 4 years of their life. Before they turn grey they are generally the base coat color they were born with.
Palomino is a genetic color in horses, consisting of a gold coat and white mane and tail; the degree of whiteness can vary from bright white to yellow. Genetically, the palomino color is created by a single allele of a dilution gene called the cream gene working on a "red" (chestnut) base coat.

The Tiger Horse is a relatively new breed that's based on the spotted horses of the Iberian Peninsula in Spain. They are often sought out for their unique, leopard-like coloration.
A subset of horses called fairy horses exist in North of North. These horses are magical horses, part of Herd Moonfairy. They include multiple types of horses, including sprites, pixies, brownies, naiads, and dryad horses.

Perhaps the most famous horse in racing history, the record-breaking Secretariat was foaled in 1970. Secretariat had a powerful stretch-running ability, giving him an edge over his competitor. It meant he could gain strength and speed as the race wore on.
