To use the Snipping Tool when you have a mouse and a keyboard: Press Windows logo key + Shift + S.
Press Ctrl + PrtScn keys. The entire screen changes to gray including the open menu. Select Mode, or in earlier versions of Windows, select the arrow next to the New button. Select the kind of snip you want, and then select the area of the screen capture that you want to capture.
Press Windows+Shift+S to open the Snipping Tool on Windows 10 or Windows 11. The Snipping Tool can take rectangular region screenshots, full-screen screenshots, screenshots of a specific window, or freeform screenshots.
Turn On the Clipboard History
The Snipping Tool saves screenshots to your clipboard first. You can save the screenshots to your computer after the image has been copied to your clipboard history. So, if you've disabled clipboard history, the Snipping Tool won't work.
Fn + Alt + Spacebar - this shortcut saves a screenshot of the active window to the clipboard so that you can paste it into any app. It is the equivalent of pressing the Alt + Print Screen keyboard shortcut.
The Snipping Tool still copies the screenshot to the clipboard so that you can paste it into a document. But to save it, you must switch to the Snipping Tool window and then click on the Save button. Win + PrintScreen shortcut key does exactly all of that in a one-click.
Press the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time. If that doesn't work, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds. Then tap Screenshot. If neither of these work, go to your phone manufacturer's support site for help.

Alt+Shift+S or Shift+Alt+S is a keyboard shortcut used to open the sheet menu in Google Sheets.
Screenshots taken by the Snipping Tool are temporarily cached in the %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft. ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbw\TempState folder for the current user. You may be able to recover missing screenshots from this folder location if they haven't yet been automatically cleared.
Use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + S to open the “Web Capture” overlay. You can then choose between free selection or capture the whole page.

If the Windows 11 Snipping Tool shortcut is not working, you may have a corrupted download of the app. To repair this error, you might need to uninstall and reinstall the app on your computer.

Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9 rechecks dependent formulas, and then calculates all cells in all open workbooks, including cells not marked as needing to be calculated.
An outdated or incorrect keyboard driver might cause the Print Screen button not working in Windows. If you have tried the above methods and cannot fix the screenshot issue, you can try updating your keyboard driver. Step 1. Press “Win + X” keys, and then select the Device Manager option to open it.
Depending on your hardware, you may use the Windows Logo Key + PrtScn button as a shortcut for print screen. If your device does not have the PrtScn button, you may use Fn + Windows logo key + Space Bar to take a screenshot, which can then be printed.
If your Chromebook has it, press the Screenshot key . If your Chromebook doesn't have a Screenshot key , press Shift + Ctrl + Show windows . If your external keyboard doesn't have a Show windows key , press Ctrl + Shift + F5.
