Lynels are among the most difficult enemies you'll encounter in Hyrule, and Silver Lynels are the most powerful variety.
Silver-Maned Lynels have 5000 HP, making them even more tough than White-Maned Lynels.
The Master Sword is one of the most powerful weapons found in Zelda BOTW. Its durability is infinite as it never breaks.
It consists of three tiers of increasing strength and quality. The first tier is found in the possession of regular Lynels, while the stronger Mighty Lynel Gear is used by Blue-Maned Lynels and the strongest tier, Savage Lynel Gear, is used by White-Maned Lynels, Silver Lynels and Golden Lynels.
White-Maned Lynels drop the powerful Savage Lynel Sword, Spear, Crusher, Shield, and Bow, which are significantly better than the other Lynel gear varieties.
What's more, each Lynel is more powerful than the last. You start with a Red-Maned Lynel, then a Blue-Maned Lynel, then on to a White-Maned Lynel. The fourth Lynel is a Silver Lynel, the most powerful variant. If you manage to take it down, your next challenge is another Silver Lynel, but this one is armoured.

The Master Sword is unique in that it's the only unbreakable weapon in the game. Its durability wanes with use, but after a few minutes recharging in your inventory, it's good to go again. It's worth finding the sword as it does double damage against Ganon and his minions.
The Ancient Battle Axe++ is the strongest of the Ancient Battle Axes that can be found in the game. All the weapons that were made by Guardian Scouts are pretty powerful, but the Ancient Battle Axe++ is by far one of the best. This is the weapon that is used by the strongest Guardian Scouts.

Lynel become easier with technique, hearts and armor and the divine beasts were designed to beat before you go exploring too much and fight lynels. In my opinion getting the rewards from divine beasts helps you combat lynels more effectively.
They possess intense intelligence, resilience, and strength, making them among the most dangerous monsters in all the land. This is compounded by the fact that they have a natural resistance to all elements. You would be wise to challenge a Lynel only if you're very well prepared.
White-Maned Lynels have 4000 HP, making them twice as tough as the standard Red-Maned Lynels. There are 8 of these Lynels in the base game.
Blue-Maned Lynels have 3000 HP. There are seven of these Lynels in the base game. This Lynel can shoot fireballs from its mouth. These may look pretty menacing but they are actually very easy to dodge; in fact you can just run (no need to sprint) to the left or right and you won't get hit.
However, the Yiga Clan must be a bunch of secret jacked superheroes, because they can pull the Master Sword in Breath of the Wild no problem, it turns out.
This weapon can break, but, unlike other weapons, you can repair and reforge this weapon.
Can the Hylian Shield break? Yep. Just like in Breath of the Wild, the Hylian Shield isn't immune to the dangers of Hyrule, and it can indeed break after some wear and tear.
You can find the Yiga Armor inside a Yiga Clan hideout in Akkala Highlands at the coordinates (4501, 3143, 0245). While you can get to it through the Depths by ascending from underneath, there's an easier method. First, you can use the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower nearby to get closer.
The Yiga Mask is the easiest of the set to get the moment Link lands in Hyrule from the Great Sky Island, it also involves you revisiting a very familiar area from Breath of the Wild. The Yiga Mask is part of an entirely new set of gear called the Yiga Clan set.
A massive bolt of lightning then strikes, eliminating the Yiga as Link triumphantly walks away.
For a Lynel, it's main weak spot is in the face, and hitting one with an arrow at the right time will stun it for a few seconds, similarly to Hinox and Stallnox, though for less time.
