In Chinese medicine the Triple Burner (Triple Warmer, Triple Heater) does not correspond to any exact organ in the body. It is best understood as the functional relationship between various Organs that regulate Water. These are mainly the lung, spleen and kidney, but also include the small Intestine and the bladder.

Use the smaller burners for simmering and braising, the all-purpose burners for sautéing or frying, and the large burners for searing and boiling. If your cookware is small, the simmer burner may work best, and if your cookware is large, the large area of the power burner might be most useful.
In general, if you want a more durable burner material, you should look for brass burners in your gas cooktop. Aluminum burners tend to deform in extremely high temperatures, causing them to need replacement more often than brass burners.
