This rating was previously known as AO, meaning "Adults Only". Equivalent to low TV-14 in the US.
Programming rated TV-14 in the United States by the TV Parental Guidelines signifies content with parents strongly cautioned. It corresponds to the MPA's PG-13 rating for movies, and the ESRB's T rating for video games.
Recommended for mature audiences. Contains content that is recommended for viewers 15 and over. The content is moderate in impact. Equivalent to PG-13 for movies, T for video games and low TV-14 for television.
C and P classifications are used for programs that are made specifically for children. The C classification is given to programs for children (other than preschool children) who are younger than 14 years of age. The P classification is given to programs for preschool children.

Mature (M)
M-rated films and computer games are not recommended for children under the age of 15. They include portrayals of elements such as violence and themes that require a mature outlook.
Young Adults (16+): Recommended for older teenagers ages 16 and up. Equivalent to TV-14 (TV).
Films classified MA 15+ are considered unsuitable for persons under 15 years of age. It is a legally restricted category. Consumer advice is additional information about the main content of a film which is intended to help consumers decide if they want to view this type of material.
According to the Motion Picture Association, the PG-13 label means the movie is fine for kids over the age of thirteen. It may not, however, be appropriate for children under thirteen because of language, violence, nudity, and other mature content.

TV-MA is equivalent to R, just a little more extreme. The first difference is that TV-MA is a TV broadcasting rating but R is a film rating. The second difference would be TV-MA being the most extreme TV rating to exist while R is only the second most extreme film rating. NC-17 is the most extreme rating for the film.
