XXL Size (Size in Letter) = 46 (Size in Number).
An XXL is a Misses 18. A 1X is a plus size 14/16. The difference is that plus size clothing is generally made wider and with more room in the arms, hips, thighs, butt, and stomach areas.
"M" (medium), "L" (large), "XL" (extra large), "XXL" (extra extra large).
An XXL and a 2X are not the same, even though the size charts are identical. A 2X Big is cut larger, especially in the mid section. I order both the XXL and the 2X, the 2X is substantially larger around the midsection. The chest and arms fit about the same.
While a size XL is designed to fit a size 16/18, she may prefer to wear a size 1X which equates to a size 14/16.
Plus-size clothing is generally considered a women's size 18 and beyond. “Missy” or “straight” sizes range from 00–16/18, XXS–XXL whereas plus sizes range from 12W–28W, 0X–4X and greater. You might think plus sizes are just extended straight sizes, but guess again.
A: No. XXL is Misses, 42 I believe. 2X is Plus size, 44.
Large is usually misses 12–14, XL is 16–18, and XXL is 20–22.
Here's how we arrange our sizing: XL - 14/16, 2XL = 18/20, 3XL = 22/24, 4XL = 26/28, 5XL = 30/32, 6XL = 34/36. (Though we know they aren't the same, for our organizational purposes, we put XL & 1XL together and 2XL & XXL together. )
"M" (medium), "L" (large), "XL" (extra large), "XXL" (extra extra large).
A: XX-Large is regular clothing size, 2X is sized for plus size clothing.
Yes. 2 XL and XXL are the same size.
2XL is women's double large or extra-large, which translates roughly to woman's sizes 18–20.
US size 12–14 is usually considered “Large” and some brands do start “plus sizes” at 12.
