Good Classes for Changeling
A Changeling makes a fantastic Bard, Paladin, Warlock, or Sorcerer. Really. They're good at all four classes. Bard Changelings benefit hugely from the +2 Charisma, augmenting their spellcasting, bardic inspiration, and talking skills.
Appearance. In their true form, or their form "at rest", changelings have pale skin, colorless eyes that can be completely white or completely black, and white or silver-white hair.
Changelings reach maturity slightly faster than humans and live as long as humans do, typically about 100 years.
Draconic language is one of the most unique Dungeons and Dragons languages. Spoken mainly by the Dragons, it's a rare and secret language. The other speakers include only draconic-related natives, such as kobolds and Dragonborn, or reptilian races: Troglodytes and Lizardfolk.
Commonspeech, Common Tongue, or simply Common is, by far, the most common language in the world of DnD. Commonspeech is a universal language used by a lot of different humanoid races and other creatures for diplomacy, commerce, and trading.
Fae language is the language spoken by the Fae. Known speakers of the language include Bast and Felurian.
Unlike doppelgangers, which are entirely genderless, a changeling does have a default gender that manifests in adolescence, but each changeling can adapt his or her form to be of either gender, hermaphroditic (both genders simultaneously), or entirely genderless.
Most changelings don't know they're changelings.
Though they may always feel somewhat different or removed from human life, most changelings are too young to understand who they truly are.
Races & Adventurers
The Traveler is the patron of all those who welcome change, in body and in philosophy. Its worshipers include changelings, shifters, doppelgangers, and lycanthropes, who see it as the greatest of gods, but only doppelgangers and lycanthropes routinely revere it.
The short version is that a Changeling can shapeshift to a form that can produce sperm to impregnate someone, and can shapeshift to a form with a uterus and eggs to get pregnant, but a pregnant Changeling cannot shapechange to a form without a uterus without ending the pregnancy.
10 Changelings Have A True Form
Their eyes are colorless and ringed by black as pictured in the artwork above by Julia Zhuravleva. They have no body hair, but the hair on their head can be platinum, white, or silver. Sometimes, it can be a pale pink, blue or green, as well.
Changelings typically have large eyes with narrow pupils, ranging in color from white, to yellow, to black. Hair colors are similar: Light grey, platinum blonde, shades of silver, all the way to the darkest hair color being a light brown.
The most popular DnD class is the Fighter. It's a straightforward class that packs a lot of power, and it's very beginner-friendly. Druids on the other hand are the least popular class to play in DnD.
Celestial is the language spoken by celestials, such as the archons of the plane of Shavarath. In addition, some of the archons' eternal enemies, the demons and the devils, may also speak the language of Celestial.
“In the last eight years, as we have looked at player data, we have found that for as beloved as the Druid is from a sentiment standpoint, in actual play the Druid is the least played class in Fifth Edition of the classes that are in the player's handbook,” Crawford reveals.
And The World's Weirdest Language Is…
Chalcatongo Mixtec! This language, spoken by 6,000 people in Oaxaca, Mexico, ranked first in the weirdest language shortlist. Chalcatongo Mixtec, also known as San Miguel el Grande Mixtec, is a verb-initial tonal language.
Most often it was thought that fairies exchanged the children. In rare cases, the very elderly of the fairy people would be exchanged in the place of a human baby, so that the old fairy could live in comfort, being coddled by its human parents.
Changelings have an interesting relationship with gender as a concept, which is probably part of the reason a lot of the art doesn't find it necessary to distinguish the males with facial hair. As they're changelings though, they can have any kind of hair they want.
If you want it to be able to grow a tail when it changes into a tiefling or tabaxi, it is your choice. It is also your choice if you want the tail to be prehensile and able to grab and hold stuff. You can appear as a member of another humanoid race which will include things like tails, frills, gills, wings, horns, etc.
