Walking with the Lord, step-by-step, a question has come to mind: What moves God to action? Contrary to what most people think, it isn't prayer. Prayer is not to instruct God, or inform God, or impress God. Prayer moves you and me — it is faith that moves God's hand.
What moves God to action? Contrary to what many people think, it isn't our prayers. Prayer moves you and prayer moves me, but it is faith that moves God. Prayer gets us into faith.
It's been said that faith may move mountains, but prayer moves God.
As we wait and expect to see God move, we will see just that. No matter how long or how hard it has been, God has a “suddenly” for you; a sudden breakthrough. As we wait and trust God, He will move, He will fulfill His promise, and we will receive from Him what we waited and looked for.
The Movement of the Word of God, also called Work of God the Father, is a pastoral community of disciples, a lay ecclesial movement within the Roman Catholic Church.
It always feels like someone else is there. The Bible says: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them” (Matthew 18.20). The Bible also says “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13.5, Joshua 1.5).
The LORD your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the LORD said.
Psalm 147:15 “He sendeth forth His commandment upon earth: HIS WORD RUNNETH VERY SWIFTLY”. From the etymological study of the root word “SUDDENLY”, it means a positive dramatic interruption in human affairs with immediate, instantaneous intervention, provision, releases, blessings, healings, etc.
When God is doing something new, it sometimes requires us to step into the unknown, which may feel uncomfortable, scary, and even unpleasant at first. We might be tempted to hold on to the life we know where everything is familiar. But we need to let go of the old, trust God and embrace what He is doing.
Still, what the Lord has told us is for us to know forever, and He has revealed in Scripture that He uses our prayers to accomplish His will. Our prayers move Him to act, which is, of course, due to the fact that He ordains even our intercession.
You will draw closer to God the more often you pray throughout the day. By identifying prayer prompts, you will be reminded to pray throughout the day. Eventually, you may find yourself naturally going to God in prayer and thanksgiving.
The Bible teaches that God's sovereignty is an essential aspect of who he is, that he has supreme authority and absolute power over all things. And yes he is very much active, despite our perplexity. Scripture says, God works “all things according to the counsel of his will” (Ephesians 1:11).
These weapons of warfare or whole Armour of God are: Belt of TRUTH – Ephesians 6:14. Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS – Ephesians 6:14. Shoes of the GOSPEL – Ephesians 6:15.
Proverbs 30:18-19 American Standard Version (ASV)
There are three things which are too wonderful for me, Yea, four which I know not: The way of an eagle in the air; The way of a serpent upon a rock; The way of a ship in the midst of the sea; And the way of a man with a maiden.
God is unchangeable—He is immutable.
For you, too, the experience of feeling that God is far away may be the means by which a new desire for God grows in your own heart. The felt distance of God can be the means by which a complacent, self-absorbed Christian comes to a new experience of hungering and thirsting after God.
These interruptions are acts of God's grace. They force us to work through these questions. They make us face our sin. They are God's way of taking off our blinders and making us see that we need the gospel in every moment of the day.
God moves in a mysterious way, His wonders to perform. He plants his footsteps in the sea, and rides upon the storm. At this very moment, God's working behind the scenes in your life, arranging things in your favor. Stay in faith!
In this final battle before the Day of Judgment Jesus will descend from heaven to save the Muslim army, killing infidels simply be breathing on them and defeating and killing the dajjal simply by looking at him – or looking at him and putting a sword through him. The dajjal will melt away.
purgatory, the condition, process, or place of purification or temporary punishment in which, according to medieval Christian and Roman Catholic belief, the souls of those who die in a state of grace are made ready for heaven.
What is purgatory? Purgatory is the state of those who die in God's friendship, assured of their eternal salvation, but who still have need of purification to enter into the happiness of heaven.
Through the scriptures, we are taught that God will always hear our prayers and will answer them if we address Him with faith and real intent. In our hearts we will feel the confirmation that He does hear us, a feeling of peace and calm. We can also feel that everything will be fine when we follow the Father's will.
Through Calvary, God didn't grant a second chance to humans; He provided a holy Substitute—the second Adam—who got it right the first time on our behalf. How reassuring it is to know God leaves nothing to chance, most notably the salvation of His children?
He also speaks to us through the glory of His creation. Additionally, He speaks to us through His Holy Spirit and through dreams, visions and our thoughts. Further, God will use events and circumstances to speak with us. More often than not, God uses the people He has placed in our lives to speak to us.
