Intuitive Perceivers scored as the highest risk-takers of all the types. This comes as no surprise considering NPs enjoy exploring new, untested theories and possibilities.
NP's – This type combination is the most willing of all to take risks. These individuals typically jump into new possibilities and are very willing to move in completely different directions, especially when hearing – or coming up with – new ideas.
INFP and INFJ: The Overthinkers
We start off with INFPs and INFJs: two Introverted personalities that often experience bouts of anxiety. When it comes to these types, their anxiety can stem from an inclination to overthinking.
The ESTJ and Dominance
ESTJs ranked as highly dominant according to the CPI™ tool. These decisive, direct individuals are usually skilled at taking the lead and getting a job done.
Thanks to their blunt and serious mannerisms, INTJs are also one of the personality types most likely to be branded intimidating. Unlike charismatic ENTJs, INTJs tend to be reserved and distant.
ESTPs are sometimes referred to as Dynamo personalities because of their high-energy, active approach to life.
According to Truity, INTP is the most common MBTI type among college students committing alcohol and drug policy violations.
"ENTJs are highly confident and have excellent leadership skills as their dominant extroverted thinking traits make them effectiveness oriented," she says. "This personality type is also the most obviously confident of all the personality types since they are natural solution offerers who are automatically decisive."
INFJs are sensitive souls who are easily overwhelmed, but they have their limits. If they feel stressed by their environment, or the people in it, they'll tend to cry or become very quiet and want to be alone. Some INFJs will be cold, sarcastic and very blunt or speak to someone only on a very superficial level.
The Dark Triad is a phrase you're unlikely to have heard around the workplace, but it is one of the "buzzwords" in the world of psychology. It refers to three distinct but related personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy.
ENTP. ENTPs are brave because of their ability to constantly seek out new challenges in their lives. While some people are terrified of taking chances, the ENTP lives their life constantly trying new things.
"While the INTJ personality type is known for being highly intelligent, they also score high on trustworthiness, probably because they are self-aware enough to recognize the importance of trust in human relationships," Parmar explains.
ISTJ. Quiet, serious, earn success by thoroughness and dependability.
The least common Myers-Briggs personality Type is INFJ
People who prefer INFJ make up only 1.5% of the general population in the US.
ISTPs ranked lowest of all the 16 personality types in using social coping resources to deal with stress, according to the MBTI® Manual. They are also one of the four types in college reporting the lowest levels of assertiveness. All this may play a part in why they rank lower on self-acceptance.
ENFJs are known for searching for the goodness in others, and for being able to summon a powerful level of compassion, which means that even when their partner falls short, their acceptance and love is still unwavering. Expressive, nurturing, and supportive, ENFJs love hard because it's the only way they know how.
ISFJs ranked as having low self-acceptance according to the CPI™ tool. This may be largely because ISFJs are known for being cautious and careful, which may come across as self-doubting at times.
Idealist (INFP)
INFPs are quiet and prefer not to talk about themselves. They enjoy spending time alone in quiet places.
ESTPs are active, energetic types who enjoy being around people and physically doing something. They tend to get bored with a lot of sitting and chatting, but they can talk a lot when they're active or when there's a good story or joke to be told. They love action and excitement, and thrive on new experiences.
1. ESFJ. People who fit the ESFJ personality type can usually be recognized by their big hearts and kindly manner. ESFJs are warm and welcoming and their love of tradition means they value good old-fashioned manners highly.
ENTJ. ENTJs have this dominant ability of extroverted thinking, which puts them on the list of "most intelligent," according to Robledo.
ENTJ types are the most charismatic. They harness all of the intellectual and strategic weight of the others mentioned above but benefit from an extroverted personality, which allows them to connect more frequently and easily with the needs of others.
According to the MBTI® Manual, ISFPs were the type most likely to get upset or angry and show it, as well as the type most likely to get upset or angry and not show it.
