11/13Scorpio: Phoenix.
SKORPIOS (Scorpius) was a giant scorpion sent by Gaia the Earth to slay the giant Orion when he threatened to slay all the beasts of the world. Orion and the Scorpion were afterwards placed amongst the stars as the constellations of the same name.
Although Scorpio is most commonly represented by a scorpion, this mysterious sign actually has a few other animals associated with it — specifically, the serpent, eagle, and phoenix.
Scorpio – Hades
Hades is the god of the underworld and the brother of Zeus, well known for his stern and unforgiving nature.

Hades was a mysterious figure — he was rarely seen or heard of in Greek mythology. He was often considered a dark and sinister god due to his association with death, destruction, and darkness.
With the snap of her nimble fingers, Gaia created a giant scorpion to take Orion down. As the brave and boastful hero stumbled on a pack of wild boar resting in the shade of a stone pillar, he drew his sword and began to shout, "I said, I am the man of all gods!"
The Phoenix
They are considered wise, intelligent, stable, and mature. It's symbolic of reinvention and renewal in many cultures. Ruled by the planets, Mars and Pluto. Scorpio is driven (Mars) to die, evolve, and be reborn (Pluto). The Phoenix represents the transformational energy that's innate to Scorpio.
The horseshoe is a lucky charm that Scorpios really put their faith on. Earlier, they were considered to be lucky as the horseshoe was made of iron, that is believed to drive away any evil spirits and dangerous mythical creatures that might cause harm. Scorpios also love to show off their horseshoe to others.
Scorpio color: Black
Black represents the depths where the Scorpion resides, and strengthens its drive to look below the surface and question everything. In western culture the color black is associated with death and rebirth, enhancing Scorpio's strength of letting go and its ability to transform itself.
