Veronica in the comics is the stereotypical rich, spoiled, popular white girl that every boy wants to be with. However, in the show her background has been changed, making her of Latino descent. It's perfect since the actor cast for the role is Hispanic.
She is from New York but currently resides in the town of Riverdale, with her parents Hiram Lodge and Hermione Lodge. She is portrayed by Camila Mendes in Riverdale and Suhana Khan in The Archies.
Chief among them is Veronica Lodge, played by Camila Mendes. The show rebooted the entire Lodge family to be Latinx — Camila herself is of Brazilian descent — and incorporates their heritage in a number of ways.

While they generally get along, they eventually find themselves at odds over Jughead's attacks against Veronica's father.

Lodge - 'Riverdale' Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) is Riverdale's richest man and the CEO of Lodge Industries. He is a shady entrepreneur, and spent some time in jail for fraud and embezzlement. Hiram isn't afraid to do illegal things to get his money as he even went as far to sell drug and make deals with mob bosses.
In this series, Jughead has taken over Pop's from Pop Tate and has renamed it Jughead's, which later spanned a franchise in each respective universe. He ended up abandoning the franchise to operate the original shoppe in Riverdale. In this series, he ends up marrying Midge Klump in one universe, and Ethel in the other.
Hiram Lodge
Hermosa is Hiram's illegitimate firstborn. He had cared for her all her life. She respects her father and always stands by his side. Hermosa know what he's like, but she has no problem with it, unlike her sister Veronica.
After unintentionally killing Glen and burying him beneath the house, Betty would go on to marry Archie, who she was forced to kill in an effort to help Jughead save Rivervale and Riverdale.
In the season 6 finale, Betty proposes to Archie and all was right in the world.
By the middle of season six, Veronica and her friends developed powers, with hers being a venomous kiss, which kills a target by placing venom into their mouths.
She may have been a mean girl in her past, but not anymore! One of the most important things that changed with the move to The CW is that Veronica Lodge is Latina. Riverdale star Camila Mendes is a proud Brazilian-American. In the show, Veronica and her mom speak Spanish every once in a while.

Betty and Jughead's relationship fell apart before they went off to college after he found out about her and Archie. Then came that voicemail he left her while drunk in New York. The two were back to investigating together near the end of Season 5, but both are now involved with other people.
As we all know, both Cole and Dylan eventually did leave school and return to acting, with Cole landing the role of Jughead on Riverdale and Dylan picking up roles in indie films and a Camila Cabello music video.
Always amid the central mysteries, Betty Cooper is Riverdale's most significant character. Most of her time throughout the season is devoted to solving a puzzle or scheme. She refuses to give up even when striving can become time-consuming or psychologically too much.
In other words, the hair color of the cartoons are simply just being translated on screen. Archie and Cheryl may be able to pass as relatives on TV, but they most definitely weren't family members in the comic books.

Jughead apologizes for casting Betty out and asks her to stay. The two have sex for what appears to be the first official time and get back together. In the following scene, Betty arrives home to find Alice cleaning up blood as a dead body hangs out in the Cooper living room.
