Starting at Platinum, you won't be able to queue for Ranked Arenas with party members more than 1 tier away. This means that Platinum players can queue with Gold but not with Silver party members.

No Ace or Crown should be playing with Gold or lower. And if you have lower ranked friends, go play unranked matches. Or TDM, or Metro, or any if the other multitudes of game modes that dont rely on rank.
