Size 0 is great for babies between 6 to 12 months old with 10 kg of weight and 76 cm in height. This size, as the name suggests, is perfect for children around the 1-year-old mark. It's intended for babies up to 18 months, weighing up to 12 kg and measuring 84 cm.
As you'll see, there's now a much broader range of what's “normal” than there was at earlier ages. At fifteen months, the average girl weighs about 23 pounds (10.5 kg) and is almost 30.5 inches (77 cm) tall; the average boy weighs about 24.5 pounds (11 kg) and is 31 inches (78 cm) tall.
1. Always choose one size ahead of your baby's actual age. Sizes can be on the small side and babies grow quickly. Most 6-month-old babies can wear clothes size 9–12 months, 1-year-olds wear size 2 and so on.
It's a good idea to choose clothes that are comfortable and easy to put on and off. Stretchy body suits, t-shirt tops or tops with envelope necks, and elastic-waist pants or leggings work well. And as your baby starts to move around, clothes that let your baby move freely are a practical choice.
What size shoe does a 1-year-old wear? On average, a 1-year-old (i.e., 12-month-old) baby wears 4C size shoes, assuming their longest foot measures 4 ¾”.
Since all babies grow at different rates, it's not uncommon for a 12 month outfit to stop fitting at 6 months; or, some babies may be able to wear a 12 month outfit well into their 16th month. Generally, it is safe to assume that if a size label reads "12 months," you can interpret that to be 9-12 months.

In the case of a single age on a label, such as 24 months, that indicates the item is for a child of up to 24 months. When it comes to 2T, it indicates that the item is for a child of 2 years old. So, a child who has just hit their second birthday and a child approaching their third birthday should be able to wear it.
1T will likely be longer than 12 months, may feature less diaper room, and will have older styling — don't expect diaper flaps, snaps, and zippers in 1T clothing. You may see less cutesy baby designs in T clothing, as well. The designs may seem a tad older in 1T vs 12 months.
In general, baby clothing is sized by age. Newborn clothing is marked as NB (for newborn), infant clothing is marked by month (for example, 0-3M) and toddler clothing is marked by age (for example, 2T for two-year-olds).
Your Child's Development: 1 Year (12 Months)
9-12M – Generally fits babies weighing 19-22lbs. 6-12M / 12M – Supposedly fits babies weighing 17-22lbs, but actually fits babies on the larger side of that range. 12-18M / 18M – Generally fits babies weighing 22-27lbs. 18-24M / 24M – Generally fits toddlers weighing 27-30lbs. This is a smaller size than 2T.
By the time children reach 12 months of age, they are considered to be 'toddlers'. While toddlers can vary in their size shape and personality, there is a well-defined time frame over which most toddlers will reach their developmental milestones.
