Selena has a phrase in Arabic on the side of her ribcage. It can be translated to "love yourself first." The singer has a lowercase "g" underneath her ear. According to Cosmopolitan, the tat is in reference to her younger sister, Gracie.
In an entirely unexpected turn of events, it seems both women have a matching 'G' tattooed behind their left ear.
Gomez's "4" is on her right forearm, just underneath the crease of her elbow. She shared a photo of herself getting inked in a slideshow on Instagram. "#4 because these women have stayed by my side for 7 years," she wrote in her caption. "4, because you are my 4 for the rest of my life.
Over the past few years, Bieber hasn't said much about his tattoo. In his cover interview for GQ in 2016, the popular singer said, "This is my ex-girlfriend. I kinda tried to cover her face up with some shading, but people still know." Since then, however, he has stayed quiet.
But the semi-colon wasn't some random image the three decided to get to mark the success of the Gomez-produced Netflix series. It's actually inspired by Project Semicolon, an organization that helps support those suffering with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
