But most of all, look at the ancient stone archway that stands in the middle of the Death Chamber, with its veil, through which Sirius Black famously fell, never to return. It's a portal from which the whispers of the dead can be heard. What is the veil? It's one of the Harry Potter series' great questions.
The Order battles the Death Eaters in the "Death Chamber." During a frenzied duel with Bellatrix, Sirius taunts her for failing to harm him. Bellatrix strikes Sirius with a curse, sending him backwards into the veil and to his death.
In the final cut of the movie, Harry's scream is muted entirely. According to director David Yates, he wanted to slow the scene down to allow the audience to allow themselves to process the death without interruption.

Dumbledore admits it's his own fault that Sirius is dead because he never told Harry the whole truth about his scar.
In the film, Bellatrix hit Sirius with the Killing Curse, Avada Kedavra, killing him before he passes through the Veil. In the book, the curse that hits Sirius is not identified (although it is rumoured to be Stupefy because of the red light), and him being knocked through the Veil is what causes his death.

Everybody thought they'd seen the last of Sirius Black when he fell through the veil at the Department of Mysteries after being killed by Bellatrix Lestrange in the Order of the Phoenix. But he's the fourth and final person to briefly return from the dead thanks to the Resurrection Stone.

After Harry wrote to Sirius to tell him that his name ended up in the Goblet of Fire, Sirius settled down in a cave near Hogsmeade, where he could pick up newspapers as a stray dog, in his Animagus form. How much do you know about Sirius Black?
It never happened though. Some fans do like to theorize that he was married to Marlene McKinnon, but as far as we know he never got married.
Stupefy and avada kedavra | Fandom. Okey, we all agree that Bellatrix did not use tha avada kedavra when killing Sirius and that she used stupefy.
Dumbledore informs Harry, "It is my fault that Sirius died [...] Or should I say, almost entirely my fault – I will not be so arrogant as to claim responsibility for the whole.
It wasn't Sirius who betrayed the Potters to Voldemort, but he did persuade them to make Pettigrew their Secret-Keeper.
Easy answer: Dumbledore could never have allowed Harry to live with Sirius had he lived at the end of Prisoner of Azkaban. The complex protection spell Dumbledore wove when he left Harry with the Dursleys was one of family blood. Harry must live long enough with the Dursleys each year for it to be his home address.
His last line is spoken to George.
In Fred's last film line, he responds to George's question about him being OK and says, "Yeah."

12. Snape's Last Words. In the [Deathly Hallows] book, Snape's dying words to Harry were "Look at me". Right then we did not realize the significance of his words but in the very next chapter when Harry goes through Snape's memories in the Pensieve, he comes to know how much Snape loved Lily.
