Anakin Skywalker
Without a doubt, Obi-Wan's toughest opponent was the Chosen One himself. In a fight that had the entire galaxy on the line, Obi-Wan bested his former Padawan in an epic and emotional showdown.
Obi-Wan was powerful enough to match Vader in a lightsaber duel in 19 BBY, only for his power to dwindle over the next 10 years. By 9 BBY, Obi-Wan was a shell of himself and disconnected from the Force.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Was More Powerful Than Darth Maul
Although Obi-Wan was caught off guard by a Force push from Maul, he was clearly more than a match for the Sith apprentice.
He also had to live with the fact he basically trained Darth Vader and watched him turn on the Jedi, killing countless people even after Order 66. Given the events of Obi-Wan Kenobi and the prequels, it is pretty clear that Obi-Wan's ultimate weakness is likely his PTSD.
The Force: Kenobi was extremely powerful, and had an extremely strong connection to the Force, and was one of the most powerful force users of his time. Though Kenobi did focus largely on Lightsaber combat, he was also very skilled and powerful in use of the Force.
Why does Obi-Wan Kenobi age like that? Because he's not real, and is a fictional character played by different people. You see, Obi-Wan Kenobi is played by Alec Guinness in the original trilogy. Guinness was 62 when he filmed A New Hope, and he died in 2000.
This suggests that Mace Windu would still fall to Obi-Wan. However, the Powers of the Jedi Sourcebook says that Mace Windu is second only to Yoda as a duelist. The book does not discuss how Obi-Wan ranks compared to Windu, but at best it's a draw when it comes to their skills.
While Obi-Wan Kenobi was frail by the time of Star Wars: A New Hope, he was still stronger with the Force than Darth Vader.
Obi-Wan was physically struck down in death by Darth Vader in the Original Trilogy. This key moment in the Originals satisfied the question with an answer: in physicality, Obi-Wan may be stronger than Anakin, but Vader is stronger than Obi-Wan.
#1 – Yoda. Yoda is widely considered to be the greatest Jedi of all time, and with good reason. He is a master of the Force, a skilled warrior, and has an unmatched wisdom that comes from centuries of experience. He is the embodiment of what it means to be a Jedi, and his legacy lives on long after his death.
Jedi Master Yoda is the most powerful of them all. This should come as no surprise, as he was the head of the Jedi Order in the prequels and was revered for his abilities during the original trilogy. Yoda's power is unmatched and was a real threat to Darth Vader and the Imperials.
It's already well-established that Qui-Gon was incredibly strong with the Force. He continuously studied the ways of the Force and eventually learned enough about the Cosmic Force and the Living Force to unlock the secrets of eternal life.
He began training under Master Yoda as a youngling until Qui-Gon Jinn chose him as an apprentice when he was 13 years old. By the time Obi-Wan was 17, their clashing personalities made for a rocky relationship -- but their bond evolved into a true partnership after a harrowing mission on Pijal.
There have ever been out-of-universe reference books indicating he was the one who engineered the Brotherhood of Darkness' defeat, just as in Jedi vs. Sith. This likely means that, just as in the Expanded Universe, Darth Bane is the one who killed the most Sith.
During his final duel with Grievous, Kenobi lost the lightsaber but eventually reclaimed it when it was given back to him by Clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody." He would also use this lightsaber to duel his fallen apprentice Darth Vader on Mustafar and would continue to wield the weapon during his exile on the planet ...
In Star Wars Legends and Canon, Galen Marek (Starkiller) is the only Jedi (other than Obi-Wan Kenobi) to put a beat down on Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker.
Darth Vader's death wouldn't only harm the Galactic Empire's war effort against the Rebellion, but it would also necessitate that Emperor Palpatine, as the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, finds a replacement for his fallen apprentice.
Nevertheless, Obi-Wan's fight against Anakin was an impressive display, and based on that conflict, it's likely he would've been able to hold out against Palpatine.
Jedi Master. Prodigiously talented in the Force, Windu passed the trials early, and continued to progress through the ranks of the order by achieving the title of Jedi Master and, at the remarkably young age of twenty-eight, was appointed to the Jedi Council.
Powers and Abilities
The Force: Despite his advanced age and small size, Yoda was very strong with the Force and a greatly skilled warrior. Yoda was capable of holding his own in combat against opponents such as the Dark Lords Darth Tyrannus and Sidious.
Mace windu clear winner 9/10 times. His use of vapad would make the fight play out similair to windu vs palpatine. He would use the seething rage pouring out of maul against him, and as mauls force power was so much weaker than windu's it would be an undisputed win for windu.
According to Yodasdatapad.com, Obi-Wan is a spritely 38 years old at the end of Revenge Of The Sith, and 57 During A New Hope. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is set nine years before A New Hope, so this puts the man himself at a mere 48 years young.
Many are often shocked to find that Obi-Wan was only 57 years old when he died fighting Darth Vader in A New Hope.
