Disney currently has an untitled animated movie scheduled for a November 26, 2025 release. Since the announcement of Frozen 3 was made only recently, and Disney has an established 6-year release pattern for Frozen movies, Frozen 3 could be scheduled to release November 26, 2025, if not later.
During The Walt Disney Company's First Quarter 2023 Financial Results Conference Call, Bob Iger confirmed that Frozen 3 is officially in the works. "I know this sounds crazy, but I'm still hoping we did right by 'Frozen 2'. I'm still in that overwhelming position of, our kids just went out to the world.
Frozen 3 could also naturally bring Elsa and Honeymaren together as a couple since they both live in the same location by the end of Frozen 2: the Enchanted Forest. After Elsa discovers she's the fifth spirit, she finds her calling as the mediator between the natural world and civilization.
Although the plot of Frozen 3 is being kept under wraps, rumors suggest that it will involve Elsa discovering more supernatural powers and resolving the identity of a mysterious voice. Fans are also speculating that Elsa may have a new love interest in Honeymaren.
We currently don't have a release date for Frozen III, but Disney has several dates on their calendar with unannounced projects. With two film slots in 2024 and an astounding six in 2025, it's a safe bet that Frozen III will be moved into one of those dates for its theatrical release.
Frozen 3 may finally reveal Anna's powers, but it may be that Arendelle's new queen always had magic within her - and that it's connected to Elsa. Since her first appearance in Frozen, fans have wondered if Anna would ever get powers - and Frozen 3 may reveal that she has had them all along.
Kristoff. A rugged mountain man and ice harvester by trade, Kristoff was a bit of a loner with his reindeer pal, Sven, until he met Anna. As Arendelle's official Ice Master and Deliverer, Kristoff has found love with Anna and his new family: Elsa, Olaf and Sven.

Elsa's boyfriend Jack Frost is from another studio.
Three years later, Elsa is 21 years old and set to be crowned queen. The people of Arendelle are joyously preparing for her coronation day. Anna (now 18) is flushed with excitement as the castle gates are opened for the first time since the sisters' childhood.
Elsa of Arendelle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' animated film Frozen (2013) and its sequel the animated film Frozen II (2019). She is voiced mainly by Idina Menzel, with Eva Bella as a young child and by Spencer Ganus as a teenager in Frozen.
Josh Gad has confirmed that he'll be returning to voice Olaf in the upcoming sequel Frozen 3. We can be sure that a familiar snowman will be present in Frozen 3 with the same familiar voice in the role.
Frozen's Elsa and Anna are Rapunzel's cousins
Continuing the family theme, Rapunzel and Eugene are very clearly seen arriving at Elsa's coronation in Frozen.
Is Moana 2 Being Made? Currently, there are no official plans for an animated Moana 2 movie being developed for a theatrical release. However, in January 2022, Disney did confirm that a Moana sequel series was in the works for release on Disney+. This will continue the young heroine's story under director David G.
According to Jennifer Lee, Anna is 18 years old in the film, while both Elsa and Kristoff are 21 years old and Hans is 23 years old.
Tangled, however, was untouched by the sequel treatment and was left alone despite the film being viewed as a studio accomplishment. Here's why Tangled 2 never was made by the Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Anna is the daughter of Agnarr and Iduna, younger sister of Elsa, and current queen of Arendelle. She was extremely close with Elsa, but an accident during their childhoods prompted their parents to separate them from each other and the outside world.
Save for their ill-fated sea voyage, very little is divulged about Elsa and Anna's parents, King Agnarr and Queen Iduna of Arendelle, in the original "Frozen" film.
As the voice of Elsa, Menzel got the final word: “Elsa doesn't focus on romantic love. That's what we love about the entire franchise, is that's not what's important. The love that we focus on is self love and our love between the two sisters."
Critically, Elsa isn't the movie's villain. Her love for Anna, and Anna's love for her, is what saves the day by the end of the film, and she learns to revel in her powers once she discovers that she can control them through love (awwwww).
Olaf is a snowman built by Elsa. He is based on a similar snowman built by Elsa and her sister, Anna, when they were both young. Though she was unaware of it, Elsa imbued Olaf with life, and the snowman proved instrumental in Anna's quest to find her sister.
Anna is betrayed by Hans, who reveals his plot to become King of Arendelle by forging a marriage with Anna and murdering Elsa. Unable and unwilling to give her a true love's kiss, Hans leaves Anna to die.
Using Anna's loneliness to his advantage, Hans proposed to Anna, and despite knowing him for less than a day, she accepted. Though Elsa refused to bless the marriage, the situation led to her powers being exposed and her subsequent flight from the kingdom.
After both the Enchanted Forest and Arendelle were saved, Kristoff finally had the opportunity he needed to propose properly to Anna, who, overwhelmed with joy, was all too happy to accept.
