Arithmancy was Hermione Granger's favourite subject at Hogwarts. She once told Harry Potter it was "wonderful" when he remarked that her challenging homework looked "terrible." However, one of her roommates said that, in her opinion, it was difficult, and by far preferred Care of Magical Creatures.
Arithmancy. Arithmancy was a subject that Hermione enjoyed: 'it's probably the toughest subject there is!
Hermione Granger, the brightest witch of her age, might be the top female contender in the rankings of the best Hogwarts students, but she falls to the second slot. Hermione received ten out of twelve O.W.L.s in her fifth year. She received top marks in every subject except for Defense Against the Dark Arts.
It's my favourite subject!" Arithmancy was an elective subject offered from the third year on at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as well as at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Hermione's dislike of Divination is because it is 180° diametrically opposed to what she values, logic and skill. Divination has neither, in fact, for the most part, Professor Trelawney was really unimaginative in how she taught the subject.
Her greatest fear was probably failure
' Ron was joking (as he often does) but he was actually very close to the truth. Part of the reason Hermione worked so hard was that she was terrified of getting things wrong and letting people down – a common trait among high achievers.
And this is why Hermione does not fit into Ravenclaw, since she lacks their creativity of thought. When you also add in her fearlessness and her strong convictions about right and wrong, which are inherently Gryffindor traits, then there was even less of a chance she'd end up wearing blue and bronze.
Flying - Ginny Weasley
Flying is an obligatory class for first years but does persist through later years as an optional class for students who wish to improve their flying skills. The most natural choice for this role is Ginny Weasley.
Arithmancy is Draco Malfoy's favorite subject, but what spoils it for him is that Hermione Granger is in his class, and she is better than him at it. Prime numbers are of mystical importance in Arithmancy, and Lucky Numbers even more so.
HERMIONE: GINNY WEASLEY
Hermione and Ginny are definitely an underrated couple that could have been great together. These two are actually really good friends, even if their friendship doesn't get as much focus because most of the book is from Harry's perspective.
The most brutal Hermione moment came directly from her jealous rage at Ron for his involvement with Lavender Brown. Not only did her use of this particular spell suggest that she wasn't happy to respect Ron and his romantic choices, but it showed a weirdly aggressive side to her.
In The Prisoner of Azkaban, the third book in the Harry Potter series, Hermione Granger manages to attend extra classes with the help of a Time Turner. The Time Turner allows her to go back in time so that she can, in effect, take two classes at once.
8 Hermione Granger: Alohomora
If there is a spell to encapsulate the asset Hermione is to everyone's favorite magical trio, it has to be Alohomora. Alohomora is, fittingly, the spell that is used to unlock locks.
Hermione was sorted into Gryffindor because she CHOSE to be in Gryffindor. She was an intellectual and an academic, but she valued friendship and bravery even more highly.
Hermione is a Muggle-born Gryffindor, who becomes best friends with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
Ginny is a pureblood witch born 11 August 1981, the seventh child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is sorted into Gryffindor house, along with the rest of her family.
Finally, while Canon-Ginny doesn't join the Gryffindor Quidditch team until a temporary stint as Seeker in her fourth year (followed by a full-time Chaser position in her fifth year), POS-Ginny joins the Slytherin Quidditch team in her second year, replacing Draco Malfoy as Seeker.
However, in the Order of the Phoenix, Ginny becomes less nervous around Harry, and even starts to date other boys. This possibly causes Harry to become interested in her, and in the sixth book, Harry has a big crush on her, while Ginny was dating Dean Thomas.
Since Hufflepuff isn't known for things like brains or brawn, the house is often considered the worst Hogwarts house.
Although there are strengths to every house, Hufflepuff house in particular often comes up short. While the other houses seem cool and invite a certain allure, Hufflepuff is a little different. Often considered the least desirable of all the sorting options, here are some reasons why Hufflepuff house is the worst.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin.
Ron Weasley
Being Harry Potter's best friend certainly needed heaps of bravery – hence the Sorting Hat not messing around in sorting Ron into Gryffindor, the house of his parents, brothers and sister. But the Hat specifically states that Gryffindors usually have 'daring, nerve and chivalry'.
