The Trooping the Colour parade, including the flypast, will be broadcast live on BBC One and on BBC iPlayer.
The flypast on Thursday 2 June 2022 will follow the Queen's Birthday Parade, known as Trooping The Colour, a major display of military pageantry involving 1,500 officers and soldiers and 250 horses from the British Army's Household Division on Horse Guards Parade.
What time is the flyover? The flypast is expected to soar over the Buckingham Palace balcony at approximately 1pm at a height of 1,000ft – 1,400ft, but there will be opportunities to watch the planes as they head towards London.

Red Arrows on Sunday
They take off from Southend at 1:36pm, heading over Sheerness, Faversham and Coxheath. A flypast will take place west of Tonbridge and near Crowborough at 1:47pm. They can be spotted north of Lewes and Alfriston, with another display at 1:50pm.
