Oman is known for its friendly people, who are incredibly welcoming to tourists. This combined with the low crime rate makes Oman one of the safest countries to visit in the Middle East.
The UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have been named among the world's 25 friendliest nations, according to a poll by UK-based lender HSBC.
