The Crown Chakra is Connection
The seventh chakra influences the major body systems: the central nervous, muscular, and skin. Therefore skin issues such as rashes, acne, or eczema could mean your Crown Chakra is in dis-harmony.
Along with the second chakra at the pelvis, the other even-numbered chakras (the fourth, at the heart, and the sixth, at the third eye) are concerned with the 'feminine' qualities of relaxation and openness. These chakras exercise our rights to feel, to love, and to see.
The crown chakra has an influence on some of the most significant body systems: the central nervous system and the muscular, as well as the skin.
The sacral chakra, referred to as the second chakra or Svadhisthana in Sanskrit, is located below the navel in the lower abdomen. It is the centre of reproduction and creativity as well as movement and emotion.
Swadhishthana, or the sacral chakra, is the second psycho-energetic centre of the subtle body. It is the seat of creativity, pleasure and passion that encompasses everything 'from anticipation and desire to sensation and satisfaction.
Solar Plexus Chakra
The solar plexus chakra is located in the naval. It controls clarity of the mind like will power.
The Base Chakra is also associated with a person's inner security and stability, mental traits and when they are lacking, again the person will suffer ill mental health. The Base Chakra is one which all other Chakras rest upon, it is the manifesta- tion of consciousness in its most tangible form, the physical reality.
Development of Certain Skin Conditions
For instance, if your root chakra is imbalanced, acne blemishes are more likely to appear on account of fluctuating hormones, which typically occurs as a result of not feeling grounded.
Third Eye chakra (Agya chakra)
Associated with the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus. This chakra is the master instructor, responsible for giving instructions to the whole body. If this chakra is blocked, there could be multiple hormonal imbalances.
The Heart Chakra is Love
The heart chakra, or Anahata, deals with unconditional love and emotional power. At its core, this chakra is emotional and propels us to enhance our emotional development. The heart embodies a gentle wisdom that teaches us the ways of love and compassion.
People tend to hold their traumas in the Manipura chakra. Those suffering from PTSD often feel like they have no power, no strength in decision making and who they are and these symptoms are governed by this energy center.
The Solar Plexus, or Manipura, refers to the third chakra. It spins in the area around the abdomen above the belly button up to the breastbone. Meaning “lustrous gem” in Sanskrit, the Manipura chakra provides a source of personal power and relates to self-esteem, warrior energy, and the power of transformation.
Solar Plexus Chakra
This chakra regulates our fears, sense of power, and gut feelings. When this chakra is out of balance we experience fears, eating disorders, anxiety, and loss of control.
The 4th Chakra, or heart chakra, is considered the center of the emotions love and grief.
Sacral Chakra – This energetic center is located inside the pelvis and is home to the energy of emotions, creativity, and sexuality. Blockages here can relate to anything from depression to addiction and general emotional instability.
Sacral Chakra (also called Svadhishthana)
This chakra is responsible for our physical and creative energy. When sacral chakra is balanced, you will feel passionate, joyful, and friendly.
Often used in asana practice as a focal point, the third eye chakra is believed to control your intellect, intuition, wisdom, and spiritual power. According to this belief system, an open and balanced third eye chakra allows you to notice the connections in this world and beyond.
Ajna chakra (third eye chakra)
Out of balance – Lack inspiration and imagination, or overactive imagination, lack of intuitive guidance, feel brain fog or sense of disconnection.
Crown Chakra
Imbalanced: Being judgemental, constant overthinking and over-analysis of day-to-day situations.
An unbalanced or blocked chakra causes illness, ailments and extreme emotions. When we express anger it is because the solar plexus chakra is not operating at the correct vibration or speed that maintains good health and wellbeing. If the chakra is blocked this will also mean that our emotional state is off balance.
Possible symptoms of an imbalance of the heart chakra are jealousy, holding grudges, grief, hatred, feelings of unworthiness, fear of betrayal, and physically, heart problems. Gratitude practices are healing for the heart chakra.
The Ajna Chakra is located in the astral body corresponding to the spinal cord, at the center of the brain. Its exact location is four inches behind the center of the eyebrows. While the two physical eyes see the past and the present, the third eye reveals insight into the future.
