The play never actually provides a definitive answer about the identity of the Cursed Child. Some fans have claimed that it is Albus, arguing that he is cursed by a family name he can never live up to. Others, albeit less convincingly, have pointed to Scorpius.

Delphini (b. March 1998), known by the nickname Delphi, was a British half-blood Dark witch, the daughter of Tom Riddle and Bellatrix Lestrange. Bellatrix Lestrange was obviously in love with him and worshiped him, but he only cared for her servitude, not her.

Dumezweni was cast in Cursed Child because she was the best talent for the role—ultimately proving this with her performance—and by playing Hermione as a Black woman, she made a beloved character relatable to some BIPOC audiences in a new way.
Albus is the younger brother to James Sirius Potter and the older brother to Lily Luna Potter. He is also the husband to Adelena Delacour and later on the father to Alexis Potter and Savanna Potter.
Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy (b. c. 2006) was a British pure-blood wizard and the only child and son of Draco and Astoria Malfoy (née Greengrass). He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 2017 and onwards and was sorted into Slytherin House.
Bellatrix used a powerful "love potion" on Voldemort and they have sex while he is temporarily obsessed with her. She then uses obliviate on him while he sleeps (you know, he falls asleep after his post-sex cigarette) and tells everyone that the baby is her and her husband's.
In The Cursed Child, we learn that Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange had a baby together, a girl who would grow up parent-less and neglected to become the woman we first meet as Delphi Diggory in the play.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin. The problem with being a female Slytherin heir, is that they're cursed.
The most likely reason why Lord Voldemort's nose disappeared and he devolved into such an evil-looking creature is that as he dabbled deeper into the Dark Arts, his appearance gradually became as distorted as what remained of his twisted soul.
