Belgium, where people eat 95 grams of fat each day on average, holds the distinction of being the world's most fat-crazed country. Germany, where people eat 86.5 grams of fat each day on average, is second. Finland, where people eat just shy of 81 grams, is third.
Samoa, France, Cyprus, the Bermuda Islands, the Ukraine, Polynesia, Austria and Switzerland are the countries where 41% of the population consume oily foods on a regular basis. In the US and Italy, people who eat greasy food the most make up 40% of the countries' populations.
Canada and the United States rank first and second in annual per capita sales of ultra-processed food and drink products among 80 countries worldwide for which data are available.
The 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend the following targets for healthy adults: Total fat: 20% to 35% of daily calories. Saturated fat: 10% or less of daily calories.

1/ Okinawan diet – Japan
So much so that Japan has the lowest obesity rates and second longest life expectancy of any developed country. The Okinawan diet is centred around fish, seafood, tofu, and other nutrient-rich ingredients. It's also extremely low in processed foods.
The United States is the biggest consumer of sugar on the globe. According to sources, the country's per capita sugar consumption is 126.4 grams daily. That translates to more than ten times the lowest recommended intake of 11grams per day.

The study rated each European country on a number of different health factors, including life expectancy and obesity rates.
Rice is one of the most widely consumed grains in the world. As the most populous country in the world, China also consumes more rice than any other country, with about 155 million metric tons consumed in 2022/2023.
India, Indonesia and South Korea, where people eat the least amount of fat, consume 10 grams, 15.5 grams, and just over 20 grams per capita, respectively.
France eats the most saturated fat and has the lowest rate of heart disease deaths in all of Europe. Switzerland eats second-most saturated fat and has the second-lowest mortality. The countries eating more saturated fat have less heart disease, period.
LEMONS. Often touted as the world's healthiest food, lemons have strong anti-inflammatory qualities and can help to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. They also have just as much Vitamin C as oranges. EASY EATING TIP: Add a slice of lemon to your tea or water bottle to get healthy and hydrated at the same time.
Belgium came in at second place on the list of countries surveyed, while Austria and the Netherlands were found to eat the least junk food per month on average. The UK eats the most junk food in Europe, a new study by meal box delivery company HelloFresh has found.
People in France tend to spend the most time eating and drinking per day on average at 2 hours and 13 minutes. Their neighbors in Italy and Spain aren't too far behind, averaging more than two hours per day.
