The largest sheet from the A series is the A0 size of paper. It has an area of 1m2, and the dimensions are 841mm × 1189mm.
What size is A6? Yup, you guessed it, A6 is half of A5, which is half of A4. As with paper sizes, the smaller the number is, the bigger the card blank will be.
The A5 is slightly lower and wider than the A4, giving it a sportier look.
The B paper sizes are a bit larger than their A series counterparts and are based on the geometric mean of two consecutive A series sheets. For example, B4 is between A3 and A4 in size, and B5 is between A4 and A5.
A5 is actually often referred to as DIN A5. The Japanese have adopted the same range of paper sizes in their JIS P 0138-61 standard. By folding an A5 in two along the shortest side, you create an A6 document. Two A5 pages next to each other in a spread equals the A4 paper size.
