INTJ: One of The Rarest, Loneliest Personality Types [Introverts and Writing] — Amy Suto.
Loners seek solitude and prefer introspection to socializing. Introverts usually seek out social instances less than others, and they need some “recharging time” after big social events. Loners can be introverts; however, not every introvert is a loner.
It is one of the 16 personality types described by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).1 People who score as an INTP personality type are often described as quiet and analytical. They enjoy spending time alone, thinking about how things work, and coming up with solutions to problems.
Introverts can also sometimes be considered loners. These are people who enjoy time alone, not necessarily because they don't like being around other people, but rather because they are more interested in their own inner thoughts and feelings.
From a general point of view, Introverted Intuitives (INxx) are the 4 types who spend most of their time alone. To be more specific, two of these types are Ni dominant (INxJ). Ni is the most introverted of all functions.
ISFJs ranked as having low self-acceptance according to the CPI™ tool. This may be largely because ISFJs are known for being cautious and careful, which may come across as self-doubting at times. ISFJs are also very practical and down-to-earth, and thus may not have very lofty, idealized images of themselves.
People with an INFJ personality type are dominant in introverted intuition. This means: INFJs tend to be highly focused on their internal insights. Once they have formed an intuition about something, INFJs tend to stick to it very tightly, often to the point of being single-minded in their focus.
Enter the Confident Individualists: the “lone wolves” of the personality type spectrum. Much like a lone wolf in the wild, Confident Individualists are born of a social species, yet are much more self-sufficient than most of their kind.
Add on top of that their introversion, and is clear why both INTJ and INFJ types tend to be “lone wolves"--and prefer it that way. To the point: Both are equally “lone wolves”, but for different reasons.
Introverted Feeling (Fi), by contrast, is an intrapersonal function. Whenever possible, it prefers to handle emotional issues inwardly and independently. This is why ISFPs, who use Fi as their dominant function, are among the least talkative of all types.
ESFJ. Those who are extroverted, sensing, feeling, and judging are among some of the most likable people, Sameera Sullivan, matchmaker and relationship expert, tells Best Life. They can be identified by their "warm disposition and big hearts," she says.
INFJs are complex because different aspects of their personalities seem to contradict one another. However, these traits are also what make INFJs fascinating. Learn why the INFJ Personality type is the most complex Myers-Briggs Personality Type.
As far as addiction goes, Type B personalities are more impulsive and tend to have a stronger family history of alcohol abuse. On the other hand, Type A personalities are prone to stress and may use alcohol and drugs as a way to cope.
People with an Enneagram Type 1 personality tend to be rational, principled, and judicial in their behavior. They usually have a desire for justice and equality. They are motivated by a strong sense of right and wrong.
These types have a tendency to crave perfection so intensely that they will abandon projects altogether because they cannot find a way to do them absolutely flawlessly. The INFJ and INTJ types are hardest on themselves if and when they are chasing perfection (which is pretty much all of the time).
Overall, the rarest personality type is INFJ
INFJ is the rarest personality type across the population, occurring in just 2% of the population. It is also the rarest personality type among men. INFJ stands for Introversion, Intuition, Feeling, and Judging. This unique combination is hard to find in most people.
ISFJ. ISFJ's are quiet, conscientious, and kind. They are responsible in nature and are committed to meeting their obligations. They have a tendency to put the needs of others above their own.
As the most loving personality type, ESFJs are incredibly romantic and go out of their way to make you feel special. Not to mention, they're always up for a good time, which makes them a pleasure to be around.
The “Loyalist” Enneagram 6: ISTJ, ISFJ & ISFP Types
According to Myers-Briggs theory, both the ISTJ and ISFJ types (“ISJs) use Introverted Sensing (Si) as their dominant function. Of all the functions, Si is the most tradition-oriented, concerned with preserving the past and defending “the tried and true.”
ESTP – The Fox
Adaptable, smart, powerful – the fox embodies many of the natural strengths of the ESTP. Like the ESTP, foxes trust their instincts and use their quick-thinking skills to survive and succeed in life.
ESFPs are also incredibly brave when it comes to being their authentic selves. You're not afraid to let your true personality shine, even if it means standing out from the crowd. You aim to be comfortable in your own skin and you know that being genuine is always the best policy.
ENTP is one of the most adaptable personality types.
This is a big reason why they are considered to be the most fearless personality type. In an effort to explore various interests throughout their life, the ENTP will do things you haven't even thought of.
ISFJ. People who identify with the ISFJ personality type are likely ones you can confide in. ISFJs are devoted and reliable people, and according to Joseph Puglisi, CEO of Dating Iconic, their introverted, sensing, and feeling nature "makes them really good friends and partners."
ISFJ: Soft-spoken
You never speak an unkind word to others. You're responsible, studious, love to read, and others probably think you're a bit quirky, too.
With that in mind, the three most feminine would be ESFJ, ISFJ, and ENFJ in that order. The most masculine would be ENTJ, ISTP, and ESTP in that order.
