Due to the extreme danger posed by this power, the character has undergone rigorous mental training to prevent himself from uttering a sound, even in his sleep, and he usually remains completely silent and speaks through sign language or via a spokesperson.
It's up to Black Bolt to break the tension, using his authoritative voice to break up the fight. His screams are so overpowering that the symbiote leaves Thor and is eventually ended by The Black Cat.
Clint's years as a human avenger have taken a toll on his body, leaving him completely deaf in one ear and requiring a hearing aid in the other.
