Surah Duha, Surah 93, ma sha Allah. Allah subhana wa ta'ala revealed it at a time when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was depressed, to soothe him.
Our study highlights the efficacy of Surah Al-Rehman as a remedy to reduce depression. The Holy Quran intones, "This sacred book is 'shifa' for its followers."
Surah Isra, Kahf, Maryam, Taha, Anbiya
All of these stories help with depression and anxiety and help us feel the power and majesty of Allah.
Translation: O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so don't leave me in charge of my affairs even for the blinking of an eye. And rectify all of my affairs for me. Nothing has the right to be worshipped except You.
Sad (Arabic: ص, Ṣād; "The Letter Sad") is the 38th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur'an with 88 verses (āyāt) and 1 sajdah ۩ (38:24).
Many times the Quran reminds one that there is no grief or fear if one remains steadfast and that the Hereafter is free of all those negative and overwhelming feelings and situations (Quran 43:68, 46:13). The Quran acknowledges the reality of these emotions and, by extension, acknowledges the reality of depression.
Surah Al-Fatiha: The Prophet (peace be upon him) named this as the chapter of healing. Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya explained how to read this surah for healing.
We ponder, glorify, worship Allah and find ways to keep Him our hearts! Surah Duha restores our faith and increase our belief in the greatness and power of Allah. Read it and ponder over its meanings.
“Indeed, the believers, Jews, Sabians, and Christians whoever truly believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good, there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve” (Quran5: 69) (The Noble Qur'an, 1984: p. 157, Chapter 5, Verse 69).
'A'oothubikalimaatil-laahit-taammaati min ghadhabihiwa 'iqaabihi, washarri 'ibaadihi, wa min hamazaatish-shayaateeniwa 'an yahdhuroon. Dua when distressed
“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship except You.”

Surah Al-Kahf for peace of mind.
Surah Al-Kahf is the surah number 18 in the holy Quran. With 110 verses that carry many lessons for us. In English, it is called “the cave”.
Surah Ar-Rahman.
In this verse, Allah tells us how the Quran in itself is a guidance and blessing to us. It is one of the best surahs to read for anxiety. As it will ease your heart and give you peace of mind, making you feel better.
The Quran and the Prophet Muhammad clearly tell us that weeping is a virtuous act when receiving knowledge. It is a sign of humility that you are able to shed a tear in the face of a spiritual truth.
We all experience difficulties in our life's and as Muslims we should know that this is a test from Allah. In fact that this is something Muslims firmly believe in, that going through difficult times is inevitable.
Similarly, instead of feeling victorious, Elijah felt hopeless, alone and afraid. He had low self-esteem and wanted to die. He wanted to sleep and had to be encouraged to get up and nourish himself. Elijah, a prophet, Biblical hero, and person of faith, was seriously depressed.

Connect through prayer, remembrance and supplication, and study His Names and Attributes to increase your closeness to Him. We can also take comfort in the fact that the best of creation, the Prophets (as) and many of the righteous before us were often alone and isolated from their communities.
