Now, with Demon Slayer Season 3's Swordsmith Village, two more Hashira have come into focus: Mitsuri Kanroji (the love hashira) and Muichiro Tokito (the mist hashira).
The primary role of a Tsuguko is to step into the shoes of the Hashira they serve under, should the Hashira no longer be able to fulfill their duties. This can occur when a Hashira retires or passes away.
4. Sanemi Shinazugawa – The Wind Hashira. Sanemi is the older brother of Genya Shinazugawa, one of Tanjiro's allies. He is hot-headed and impulsive, especially when he tries to fight Nezuko in order to prove that demons and humans can't coexist.
9 The Insect Hashira - Shinobu Kocho
Kocho follows in the footsteps of her older sister Kanae Kocho, who was a Hashira before her death, several years prior to the timeline of the anime. Shinobu Kocho is Demon Slayer's only known Insect Breathing practitioner.
Giyu was the first Hashira to be introduced in the series, making his debut in the very first episode. After rescuing Tanjiro from the newly transformed demon Nezuko, Giyu prepares to execute her as he would any other demon.
These skilled swordsman are the pillars of their organization. They protect all of the other Corps members, and are regarded as the strongest among their peers. Finally, these elite warriors are highest in rank besides the Corps leader. There are nine total active Hashira in the anime.
Tengen Uzui abandoned his role as the Sound Hashira during the Entertainment District arc after fighting the upper-rank demons Daki and Gyutaro.
12 Mitsuri Kanroji
As the current Love Hashira, Mitsuri doesn't hesitate when fighting a demon. Instead, she proves herself to be a deadly combatant against the strongest villains. Mitsuri has special fighting skills, and her muscles are approximately eight times denser than an average human.
Specifically, Kyojuro was the Flame Hashira who made use of the Flame Breathing. While not having his life being directly affected by Demons like many other members in the Corps, Kyojuro household had produced Demon hunters for generations.
When it comes to pure strength, Shinobu Kocho is the weakest Hashira in Demon Slayer. She doesn't even have enough strength to decapitate a demon's head and she makes up for it by injecting poison into the demons.
Demon Slayer's Tengen Uzui is considered to be one of the weakest Hashira due to almost losing this fight, but the fact is that Tengen only looks weak when compared to the most overpowered Hashira.

Who is Rengoku girlfriend? Mitsuri Kanroji. The two of them share a gluttonous side and enjoyed snacking on their breaks. Mitsuri derived her own unique Breathing Style, Love Breathing, from his Flame Breathing.
With the loss of his left hand and left eye, Tengen Uzui decides to retire after his battle with Daki and Gyutaro. He is the second Hashira to retire due to being disabled. The first Hashira to retire from this was Jigoro Kuwajima, Zentisu's master and the former Thunder Hashira.
At some point, Daki fought, killed and ate seven Hashira.
Giyu is the current Water Hashira as well as the first Demon Slayer that Tanjiro Kamado comes across as he initially tries to kill Nezuko Kamado, but reconsiders after seeing her protect an unconscious Tanjiro as he sends them to his mentor Sakonji Urokodaki in the hopes that Tanjiro could succeed him and possibly cure ...
No one killed Sanemi Shinazugawa. Sanemi almost died when he tackled his sister Genya from a window in order to protect her from a demon attack, but was saved by his friend Masachika who healed his wounds.
Although Tanjiro remains at the fourth bottom of the hierarchy in the Demon Slayer Corps, he has always been strong enough to become a Hashira. Just the fact that Tanjiro has a fully developed permanent Demon Slayer Mark is a testament to his skills.
Sensing their despair, Doma offered a chance to him and turned both Gyutaro and Daki into demons.
Mitsuri Kanroji is a 19-year-old young woman with bright green eyes, with long eyelashes and a small mole. She has long pink hair mixed with neon-green paint, wearing three thick braids and five shorter clumps falling over her nose like bangs.
1) Tengen Uzui
Without a doubt, the flamboyant Tengen Uzui is physically the fastest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
Muichiro Tokito's character received an immense amount of growth in the Swordsmith Village. As the youngest hashira, Tokito is still discovering himself as a person unlike his sword-skill.
