In Norse mythology, Móði (Old Norse: [ˈmoːðe]; anglicized Módi or Mothi) and Magni [ˈmɑɣne] are the sons of Thor. Their names translate to "Wrath" and "Mighty," respectively. Rudolf Simek states that, along with Thor's daughter Þrúðr ("Strength"), they embody their father's features.
Thor's wife was Sif, a golden-haired fertility goddess, with whom he had a daughter, Thrudr (Strength). He was also the father of two sons, Modi (Courage) and Magni (Strength), by Jarnsaxa, a giantess, and stepfather of Sif's son Ull.
Magni (Old Norse: Mágni) was the eldest son of Thor and Járnsaxa and step-son of Sif.

In the God of War games, Magni and Modi are considered antagonists. The sons of Thor and Sif, Magni is the older one while Modi is younger than him. John Henry is a Norse demigod son of Thor and an African American folk hero. He was born as a mortal and became an einherji in 1871 C.E.
Magni's position as the Norse god of strength granted him superhuman strength even greater than that of his father Thor (he effortlessly lifted and dropped a tower on Desak).
In the original Norse mythology, there is no specific charm that prevents someone from lifting Mjolnir, but it is said to have been so heavy that only Thor could easily wield it as a weapon, with 4 giants or the combined strength of his two sons Modi and Magni being required to even lift it in some writings.

While there is no character named "Love" raised by Thor in Marvel Comics, Thor does, in fact, have a daughter in an alternate reality with Lady Sif, though this child is named Torunn Thorsdóttir. Odin himself can also alter the enchantment, allowing somebody the hammer wouldn't naturally deem worthy to use it, or preventing somebody, even Thor, from lifting it.
God of War's combat is impressive, and while Mjolnir could have been a worthy addition to Kratos' arsenal, it wouldn't fit the character's arc based on William's logic. The Norse Saga has transformed Kratos from a ruthless and bloodthirsty anti-hero to a protagonist with real depth.
