Can Beat Her:
2 Superman Has Beat Wonder Woman Every Time They've Fought
However, his powers have never failed against Wonder Woman; the two have fought several times in the past, and she's never won. Oftentimes, skill can beat power, but that's not the case when Wonder Woman fights Superman.
But the fact remains, Superman has some wins over Wonder Woman. One of the more dramatic fights was in an alternate timeline where Superman and Batman were raised by evil dictators and became the biggest tyrants the world has ever known.
And here Superman is flying almost 82,500 times faster than Wonder Woman at hypersonic speeds.
Combat Skills
She is a capable fighter, and even though Wonder Woman has the advantage of God-like strength, Gamora can overtake her by focusing on her martial arts skills and hand-to-hand combat training. Easily besting Wonder Woman in combat is the first step in Gamora's battle against the Amazonian.
Her first major enemy, and often the main reason for her superhero career, is the God of War Ares (or, earlier, Mars). Other prominent enemies include multiple incarnations of the Cheetah, the sorceress Circe, the misogynist Doctor Psycho and the giantess Giganta.
The two have clashed several times, most notably in the '90s. The fight was a little one-sided, of course, as Joker couldn't hang with Wonder Woman physically at all. That didn't stop him from trying but there was little he could do to hurt her and she made sure he understood that.
Not only did Wonder Woman pop her father Zeus' head off with her Lasso of Truth; she also went after all the other gods too. According to the Robin King, she supposedly killed them all, and also took all of their powers.
Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman is far from DC's most powerful being. However, she earns her place on this list not just by virtue of who she is, but of what she has overcome and what she represents. Wonder Woman represents the potential for a world without deadly conflict.
She has no convenient weakness. She used to be rendered powerless if she was bound or shackled by a man, but that's been phased out. She would also go mad when her bracelets were removed.
In hand to hand combat, Wonder Woman would win. Why? Not only because she was the finest warrior in Themyscira, but also because Wonder Woman trained Aquaman in hand to hand combat herself.
1 Couldn't Defeat: Wonder Woman
Pair that with all of her godlike abilities and it's not even close. She's faster and stronger than Deadpool, and he'd likely run out of bullets after failing to even graze her skin.
1 WINNER: Wonder Woman
It was a close call, with two ties in the mix, but Wonder Woman is the winner in the battle of icons. In a strictly physical fight, Wonder Woman's strength and speed give her too much of an advantage over Spider-Man.
With a record of six wins, four losses, and five draws, they found that Wonder Woman narrowly defeats Superman. While it is difficult to determine the outcome of fights between friends, it quickly becomes clear that the Man of Steel and the Amazing Amazon are almost evenly matched.
Wonder Woman is very, very old. Several millennia old in fact. In the new cover issue of Empire, it is revealed that Wonder Woman is 5,000 years-old. "Because she's seen it all, she has seen what humans can do, so it was very hard for her to come back and fight," said Gadot (via ComicBookMovie.com).
Wonder Woman was chosen as the champion of the Greek Pantheon, and Shazam (then still called Captain Marvel) was chosen as the champion of their sister pantheon of Roman gods. The two battled to a standstill on Mount Olympus, with Shazam's 'Strength of Hercules' matching that of Wonder Woman.
Of course, Thor's flying speed is faster than Wonder Woman's own speed whenever she is in flight. But the thing is that, in a straight-up battle, Wonder Woman can move and react faster than Thor because she can even match the Flash's cruising speed.
In the Theogony, after Zeus defeats the Titans and banishes them to Tartarus, his rule is challenged by the monster Typhon, a giant serpentine creature who battles Zeus for control of the cosmos.
Typhon attempted to overthrow Zeus for the supremacy of the cosmos. The two fought a cataclysmic battle, which Zeus finally won with the aid of his thunderbolts.
With the 2011 relaunch of DC Comics dubbed The New 52, Zeus has received a prominent role in the Wonder Woman mythos, as he is now the biological father of Wonder Woman through Hippolyta. Zeus as he appears in The New 52 continuity.
Wonder Woman would win in a fight against Captain Marvel because she is a more skilled and experienced fighter. Captain Marvel has energy-based powers that Wonder Woman cannot even hope to match, but in turn, Danvers is lacking in almost every other aspect.
While not as strong as Superman, Wonder Woman is still vastly stronger, faster and durable than Black Panther.
Wonder Woman is not only superhumanly fast but she's also as strong. That means she wins this round over Catwoman who's stronger than an average non-powered and non-trained woman but isn't on the same level as Wonder Woman, not by a long shot.
