Thanos is one of the most deadly and celebrated villains of the Marvel Universe. It's incredibly tough for even the Incredible Hulk to stand against the supervillain. Be it the Marvel Comics or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Hulk has never defeated Thanos in a one to one hand combat.
Still, while the Hulk has the brawn, his brain is lacking. There have been other heroes who have gotten ahead of him just with their smarts and careful planning. Obviously, big hitters like Sentry, Galactus, and even Superman have been able to withstand the emerald giant's assault.
Thanos vs MCU Hulk
The polished fighting style of Thanos proved too much for Hulk and his overall brutality and savagery. Hulk had the upper hand for all of two seconds due to the element of surprise before Thanos was able to finish the fight with a few quick blows.
Due to this safeguard, the Professor is ultimately the weakest of the three primary Hulk incarnations despite being the physically largest. Professor Hulk has the attributes of three Hulks: Grey Hulk, Savage Hulk, and Banner.
Abomination – Emil Blonsky. A gamma-spawned monstrous powerhouse. The Hulk's primary physical rival.
DC Comics has already admitted that Hulk can beat Superman, and it was proclaimed by the one of the most powerful characters in comics.
Gamma Mutate Physiology: Due to Bruce Banner being exposed to the Gamma Bomb's radiation, culminating in his transformation into a powerful monster, the gamma radiation mutated the Hulk's body and fortified his cellular structure, adding over 800 lbs of bone marrow and muscle tissues to his body.
Looking at several different key factors, it is apparent that the Hulk could very easily match Doomsday, if not overpower him altogether. Because of this, Hulk can easily be considered the strongest comic character around, at least in the physical sense.
As such, Zeus decides to grant the Hulk's request to beat him to death in hand-to-hand combat. The Hulk's first blow sends Zeus crashing into a nearby building. Zeus then returns this with an even more powerful blow. The ruler of the Olympians than overpowers the Hulk, and ultimately knocks him off Mount Olympus.
The Avengers found that a certain lullaby, typically said by the Black Widow, was able to calm the Hulk and help him revert back to Banner, when the Hulk's strength was no longer needed.
UNLIMITED STRENGTH
How just how strong is the Hulk? The answer; there isn't one. The amazing thing about the Hulk is that unlike nearly every other superhero ever created, the Hulk's strength has absolutely no upper limit.
Marvel fans know that Spider-Man is a strong superhero, but the company has just confirmed that Peter Parker is strong enough to defeat the Incredible Hulk in a one-on-one brawl.
Even in the MCU, Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange, Capt. Marvel & Thor could beat the Hulk.
Both in comics and on the big screen, Hulk fans have seen the green Goliath face off against various gods on many, many occasions. The dozen-plus fights he's had with Thor in the comics almost inevitably end in some sort of a stalemate.
Apocalypse makes his way into this position on the list because he is technically stronger than the Hulk. He also has a multitude of other abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and shapeshifting.
In the Marvel Universe, Thor has emerged as the true strongest there is, and has proven to be a cut above the Hulk. Of course, all of this could change in the hands of another story (and writer), but for the time being, Thor has truly earned his reputation as one of the mightiest heroes of the Marvel Universe.

In Marvel Comics it is highly unlikely that launching him into the Sun would kill him. Not for any reason other than the fact that Hulk can survive the destruction of universes, and has done so on panel more than once.
Goku could find a way to put the Hulk down after fighting him for awhile. Nope, Hulk would win, Hulk is stronger than Goku, and when he reach the Worldbreaker Hulk, it's lights out for Goku, also, like Superman, Hulk's strength was infinite, so Goku would have trouble for that, and Hulk takes hit similar blast to Goku.
1. Mark Ruffalo as the MCU's The Incredible Hulk (2012- ) Really, was there any doubt? Ruffalo became top dog the moment Hulk smashed the Centauri and bashed "puny god" Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in The Avengers.
This might be up for debate, but Marvel has answered it in their comics. Hulk is difentiely stronger than Juggernaut. They solved this question in Juggernaut Number 2, where Cain Marko actually admits the Hulk is indeed stronger.
Strength Level: The Hulk possesses superhuman strength of the Class 100 level, enabling him to lift (press) in excess of 100 tons. The Hulk only attains this strength level when he is enraged. In a totally, calm state his functional strength is significantly less, perhaps in the 70 ton range.
