As Buffy the Vampire Slayer trains the latest warrior in the Slayer line, her protégé is developing powers that no Slayer before her has possessed. Thessaly Maclay Rosenberg is the daughter of witches Willow and Tara, and the last Slayer left after Buffy sacrificed her powers in a last blaze of heroism.
Frankie was born after fourteen months of gestation, in July 2004. Growing up, Willow would tell Frankie that she was the result of artificial insemination, and the sperm donor was an astronaut. Frankie lived with her mother in the rebuilt Sunnydale, in the New Sunnydale Heights development of houses.
Despite her still-strong feelings for Oz, Willow ultimately realized that Tara was the one she truly loved and wanted to be with at that point in her life.
After Buffy's resurrection, Tara disapproved of Willow's growing magic abuse, which resulted in Tara breaking up with Willow after Tara discovered that Willow had altered Tara's memories to erase Tara's concerns about Willow's misuse of magic. Willow eventually proved that she left magic aside and they reconciled.
Tara had a curse on her family that she kept a secret from her friends. She would become a demon on her 20th birthday. She not only kept this a secret but cast a spell to hide her demonic transformation from her friends, which almost got them killed when actual demons attacked.
Benson had previously revealed that her choosing not to return was due to scheduling conflicts with her other engagements.
Tara Markov, half-sister of Brion Markov (Geo-Force), was the illegitimate daughter of the King of Markovia. While in Markovia, she came under the care of a Dr. Helga Jace and, through her experiments, Terra obtained Earth manipulation powers—specifically, the ability to control all forms of earthen matter.
Early casting calls and scripts portrayed Amber as formerly in a relationship with Tara Carpenter. These elements were cut from the theatrical release for unknown reasons.
Tara is killed by gunshot wound towards the end of the season and because she died of "natural causes" Willow was unable to bring her back to life.
History. In 2000, when searching a Polgara demon, Tara sabotaged the spell to avoid Willow from seeing the map indicate her, believing that she was part demon. According to Willow, once it worked, the spell would create a mist over the parts where the demons were and display different colors for different breeds.
Season nine continues, after issue five's cliffhanger revelation that the Slayer was pregnant, with Buffy deciding what to do about the unwanted pregnancy – the result of a drunken night at a party. Eventually she decides to have an abortion. "I want to do something.

Willow is a former member of "Dawn of Day" and has a past with Hank "Shiloh" Archer, who is revealed to be the father of her child. It's later revealed that Willow's birth name is Kali Miller and Shiloh's right-hand woman, Harmony Miller, is her mother.
By the end of the issue, Buffy comes to the conclusion that she cannot have a baby. The decision was so important for Buffy creator and Season 9 exec producer Joss Whedon, that he took time off from finishing his post-production directing duties on The Avengers to talk with EW about the issue.
The singer has now revealed that her daughter's unusual names were given to her in the hope she will exhibit the admirable qualities of those plants. The inspiration for Willow's name came from a willow tree from Pink's childhood. “I grew up near one.
Death and response
He shoots several rounds, hitting Buffy, and the last stray shot hits Tara through the heart, killing her as Willow looks on. Willow is taken over by a dark alter ego, going on a rampage, torturing Warren and skinning him alive.

The text being written on the Tara's back is a love poem by Sappho of Lesbos, the Greek lyric poet and archetype for homosexual love. The word "lesbian" is derived of her birthplace. It was rumored this episode was to guest star many past recurring characters.
In the Woodsboro High, Amber formed a close friendship with Tara Carpenter. Because of Christina Carpenter, her mother's tendency to get drunk, she discovered that Tara's sister, Samantha was the illegitimate daughter of Billy Loomis, the original Woodsboro killer and mastermind.
"I still prefer The Babadook." Said by Tara after she kills Amber in a call-back to their first interaction in the opening scene, where she named that film as her favorite scary movie.
Suddenly Ghostface attacks Richie before throwing himself and Sidney over the railing and onto the ground floor. Sam is surprised to see Richie alive, but he reveals himself as Tara's attacker and Amber's accomplice, stabbing her.
Terra then accidentally moves the rock that Beast Boy is sitting on and reveals to him her secret: She is unable to control her incredible earth-controlling abilities fully; causing great harm to those dear to her.
