Riverdale's teenage Casanova, Archie Andrews is charming and endearing. He has a passion for music and enjoys playing with his band The Archies. Though selfless and loyal, he's torn between his feelings for Betty and Veronica. He also wears his heart on his sleeve — something that tends to get him into trouble often.
His main crush is Veronica Lodge, but he is also fond of Betty Cooper, forming the love triangle driving many of the comic's plot lines. He has the best intentions, but often comes into conflict with Veronica's rich father, Hiram Lodge, and Riverdale High's principal, Waldo Weatherbee.
Betty only wants to know if he loves her. Archie explains that he does in fact love her, but he can't offer the answer that she wants. She is perfect, and he feels that he isn't good enough for her and that he never will be.
Betty is pregnant with Archie's child, and in 25 years, he'll be crowned the Maple King, just like his dad.
In Issue #600, Archie proposes to and marries Veronica. In subsequent issues, the two plan a gorgeous wedding and welcome a beautiful set of twins.

In this series, Jughead has taken over Pop's from Pop Tate and has renamed it Jughead's, which later spanned a franchise in each respective universe. He ended up abandoning the franchise to operate the original shoppe in Riverdale. In this series, he ends up marrying Midge Klump in one universe, and Ethel in the other.
Although Betty was indeed pregnant, the curse of La Llorona in Episode 2 of Season 6 leads to Betty not being pregnant anymore. There's only so much loss that Betty can take, following Archie's painful demise in Episode 1.
In the season 6 finale, Betty proposes to Archie and all was right in the world.
In Season 1, she revealed said feelings, but despite the athlete harboring some similar sentiments, he ultimately told her that he didn't think he was good enough for her. After this rejection, Betty began exploring a relationship with Jughead (#Bughead), while Archie pursued new girl Veronica.
It was all part of their plan to drive the Stonies insane, and make them confess to attacking Jughead/other secrets. … and then here's where the twist comes in. Archie later spends time with Josie in the rehearsal space at school and they sing together for the first time in a while. Feeling the rush of the music and their connection, Archie moves the guitar from between them and they share their first kiss.
The year is 1955, Archie and the gang are juniors in high school, and Jughead is desperately trying to convince them all that they're from the future. Oh, and Archie and Cheryl are getting married, Betty and Kevin are in a relationship, and Jughead and Veronica strike up a romance.
In the late '90s, Betty started dating Adam Chisholm. It was thought by some people that Betty had chosen Adam over Archie. This event made Archie jealous and he concentrated his attention on Betty, ignoring Veronica, as he always does when he thinks someone else may take Betty away from him.
But Betty thought she was pregnant at the time of her death. There is that scene in the show where she says she thinks she's pregnant again. So, we know that. And then we know from her autopsy that she in fact wasn't.
It's time to finally say it: Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Archie (KJ Apa) are endgame.
Season 3, episode 5 of Mad Men: “The Fog,” is otherwise known as the episode where the third and final Draper child, Gene, is born. As Betty gives birth in a drug-induced twilight sleep (it was the '60s, after all), she hallucinates a conversation with her recently deceased father.
Veronica and Jughead did kiss in Riverdale Episode 4 (which you can watch below) and they seemed to have some pretty good chemistry with each other. In Episode 5, they also have a good old flirt with each other.

This continued for a couple of seasons while Archie and Veronica's romance blossomed, though Betty and Veronica's friendship eventually became less prominent on-screen due to other factors. Everything completely changed, however, when Betty and Archie cheated on Jughead and Veronica in the fourth season.
Who is Chad Gekko? Chad is Veronica's husband post-time jump and, upon meeting him at the beginning of season five episode four, we learn that the couple is celebrating their one year anniversary. It seems that the pair met on Wall Street, where they were both working on the trading floor.
In season four, to distance herself from her father's bad reputation, Veronica had her name legally changed to Veronica Luna, using her father's original last name which he had changed.
